Hop Kettle Gloucester Docks
Amazing! One of my absolute favourites already. Incredible beer, staff and food. Child and dog friendly. A slight mishap with technology meant food was a bit delayed, but the way they dealt with it was awesome. Almost want it to happen again....So good I'm actually writing the review whilst still here! Second day open and already smashing it.

This new brewery outlet has not been here long.At the Gloucester Quays area in the new food Dock area, it is a welcome addition to limited drinking establishments.Access is either from the docks side via steps to the kitchen area, there is a lift for those who need it, or from the street side directly to the bar area, the building is split over 3 floors, with a large outside seating area. But there is no lift in the building.There are two toilet areas, single multi set between ground and one (bar area) and multiple toilets on floor 2.They do not take cash all card transactions.They do food, but I have not yet tried it

An exceptional place to chill out, eat and drink a huge range of expertly crafted local beers. I'm a long term fan of the Hop Kettle Brewing Company beers, and have watched them grow from a humble brew pub in Cricklade to Swindon Hawksworth Brewery & Tap then via two tap outlets in Swindon's Old Town and then Cirencester. This third tap in Gloucester Quays is the best yet, benefiting from the companies now vast experience. Situated in a tastefully renovated Victorian (?) building known as The Food Dock it's location is handy for both the town (10 mins walk from the station) and has spectacular views out over the Quays. It exudes atmosphere, has it's own kitchen where guest local food businesses rotate keeping the selections fresh and exciting. But the real reason to go here is the beer. Five or six cask beers and eight or so keg, all locally brewed and covering pretty much all tastes. They rotate the beers too, and the brewers are innovative, always looking to extend and expand the taste profile of the company. In summary; an exceptional venue for craft beer lovers!

Great drinks, tried a few to say the least. Try the cosmic milkshake! Staff were super friendly and helpful and seemed to be having fun which shows a good work culture! Service top notch. They had a street food company in who did some amazing food, stockers street food. This is a real gem already.

Visited here with friends to check the place out. Had a selection of beers and ordered some seasoned fries. Excellent experience and friendly staff. A nice contemporary brewpub nestled between the old city and the vibrant docks district.

Just had some food and drinks here. Beer very good food was very good, the tacos were amazing. Nice whisky too. Dog friendly also. Great place to sit outside in the summer.
