Spencers Car Sales popped up as an advert when I was looking at getting a new car due to experiencing a lot of issues with cars I'd previously had. I booked in to view a Peugeot and was anxious as it can be intimidating when viewing cars. Mike made me feel at ease from the beginning as I test drove the car and he kept me updated regularly whilst the car was having its MOT, service and any additional work. Mike and the team at Spencers went above and beyond when sorting the car out for me and answering my calls and queries. Mike made it easy and relaxed when picking up the car and answered all my questions as it was an upgrade from my old car and I had a lot of new features to learn about! He was clear and informative about all the paperwork for the car and how they manage it. I highly recommend going to Spencers if you're looking to buy a new car!Thank you to Mike and the team for giving me a positive and friendly experience!

Absolutely worst experience ever buying a car from these thieves. They have no customer service or decorum whatsoever and treat customers like idiots. Initially thought they were a reputable company but after reading their reviews decided not to proceed.Was interested in a BMW M340i they were selling on auto trader for £35000. Applied for finance, was not informed by Spencer’s the finance had been approved and funds had been released to them until I contacted the finance company myself. Then asked by James to bank transfer the remaining £10,000 before I had even seen or test drive the car. Decided not to purchase the car as they seemed very unprofessional and rude and I had a 14 day cooling off period ( consumer rights act).James was very unhappy I didn’t proceed with the sale and called me a time waster, even though I explained I would not purchase any vehicle without seeing and test driving first. I Was then told my deposit of £500 was not going to be refunded as by giving the deposit I had now entered into a contract to purchase the car and deposits are non refundable and no cooling off period allowed even for vehicles not seen. This was regardless of the fact that I hadn’t signed any contract or even agreed to buy the car until I had seen it in person.Extremely lucky I didn’t listen to James and transfer the full £10,000 as requested. Overall the worst experience I have had dealing with a car dealership, I am now having to go through the motoring ombudsman to get my £500 back as I was offered a partial refund of £100 which I found was completely unacceptable. I thought this was a reputable, honest dealership, however they were quick to prove me wrong.As you can see from their previous bad reviews, once you have purchased a vehicle from them or enter into any type of contract with them they simply will not speak to you on the phone and will ask you to email any issues you have.Wish I could give a 0 stars review as this was the worst experience I have had with a car dealership and I have been driving and purchasing cars for 22 years. Stole my £500 deposit because I decided I didn’t want to pay upfront for a £35,000 car with out seeing it or even test driving it first, but on the positive I’m lucky I didn’t transfer the whole £10,000 as requested.If you are thinking of buying a car from them be aware of their cowboy procedures and lack of consumer rights. I subsequently purchased a X3M from Sytner BMW Coventry who were very professional from beginning to end of the purchase. I would suggest paying a bit more and purchasing from a reputable, customer friendly showroom, who actually treat you like a human being rather then a £ sign.

My experience at Spencer's car sales was the best I've had with a car dealer! Really went the extra mile to make my experience run as smoothly as possible. Helpful, courteous and friendly. I travelled a long distance to buy the car and it was well worth the trip. I would definitely buy again from Spencer.

Amazing service. They catered to my situation and had my car ready much sooner than I had anticipated. Got a great deal and it's by far the best purchase I've made in a long time. Fantastic customer service everything was explained clearly and they treat you like a human being aswell as a valued customer.

From start to finish they have been so good at communicating and have not once given me an empty promise.The car was spotless when I received it and runs so smoothly.Rebecca the operations manager is the loveliest employee and she made the whole process smooth and no stress involved. She even delivered the car personally to me at my place of work at no cost. That’s the kind of customer service that gets your name to high places.
