Tiny single, very noisy room, no sleep, dirty shared bathroom across the corridor (i was told ensuite when i made reservation). Charged £57.75 when I asked for a receipt after I had been quoted £55 for one night…no breakfast, shared bathroom, tiny room, no bedside light, mattress absolutely shot (had to sleep with pillow down under me in the centre of the bed as it was so dipped in and you could feel the springs). Absolute rip off. Only redeeming feature was room was clean and George was pleasant - if economical with the truth!.

Anna was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The only downsides were the WiFi didn't work at all. Also we had a neighbour come round to ask us for money for her electric bill, claiming she was the owners daughter.

One of the most awful places and proprietors I have encountered, ever, in all my travels all over the UK and Europe. They get a steady stream of guests from the nearby university. The officials pre-pay and the proprietors are free to mistreat guests, adding the room is pre-paid

Very friendly staff member who was very helpful with resolving a booking mistake made with booking com. A nice clean room, good WiFi. Slightly dated feeling furnishings, but that's fine and expected - it even gives a cosy feel

Could not be more accommodating (no pun) and having parking is a very good facility. It's very handy for Addenbrookes, but the bus services from there into the city are cheap and plentiful. So the location is great. The room I'm in is nicely furnished, clean and has everything you need. WiFi is fast. What's not to like? At this price point - top of the league.

I'm leaving this review a little bit late as I stayed late last year.Absolutely brilliant service, I had to book last minute due to issues I had with previous accomodation and Anna took me in last minute very late in the evening. The rooms are clean and comfy, (I stayed on two different occasions both in the singles) with Wi-fi, TV and kettle and Anna, the host, is lovely and very willing to help!I absolutely recommend this little gem, it's not far from a Co-op for some necessities or The Coffee House round the corner and there's plenty of buses into Cambridge, or if you're cycling there's the main road into Cambridge which has wide cycle paths!

Very disappointed. Definitely not 4 star. Shower unit loose on wall taps on sinks older than the house. Wifi practically non existent. Stayed 3 nights room wasn't vacuumed once. Had to clean bathroom myself. £100 a night. Definitely not worth it

Although the manager is really likeable and kind, it doesn't make up for rooms being smaller than regular bathroom, absolutely no facilities available, both phone and the internet connection being broken, and somewhat iffy room cleanliness. Requesting an invoice may also take up a few months.

I canceled my room and then they took money out of my account without my permission so looked on the website for a contact number and I couldn't belive how rude the owner was she was shouting. So I would never recommend staying hereFollowing her comment she a lair I called her once and had 2 witness as had her on loud speaker they could not believe what she was saying and shouting and both said they couldn't believe how I stayed calm and was saying to her stop being rude, we call citizens advice and it turns out she broken the law twice as they saved my card details and it's a data protection breach and also taken money out of my account with out my permission I called the bank and the transaction was stopped was going to leave it but just read her lies im going to take it further
