I paid in full shop girl was great is the carpet fitter came to my home with 2 others no masks on complained all the way thro I stayed in sitting room as to many people fitting for distance they had no masks on general thrt need new carpet fitters as they hate there job in general he I'll fitted my door runner and said he would be back to re place it he didnt of course

Staff in store where helpful but the fitters totally let the side down. Poorly fitted in places with visible frayed areas, fitters also swore while working, quite loudly at times as well as waiting for me to go back into the house after seeing them out to throw all of the rubbish in my garden and drive off. Not to mention the staff when i phoned up to complain where totally different to the first encounter and where unreasonable and unhelpful. Will not be using their services again!

Had flooring fitted in kitchen and bathroom , Jordan did a fab job , thank you will totally recommend Boldon Carpets I have just moved to area and had excellent service from going into shop through to fitting Thank you ,

Excellent service from start to finish.

I’ll start with the positive. It was a reasonable finish. Reasonable. I’m a landlord and definitely won’t use them again. For various reasons, I was really clear that I needed to be first of the day. I was assured that was possible - before I signed up. This turned out to be an 11 OClock start and a 5 O’clock finish for a pretty straight forward 2 bed flat. I wanted to be there when they started but I ended up driving across town to drop keys off, as I needed to be elsewhere. I returned later to find the pattern on the long entrance hall was laid across the hall rather than into the flat. Sloppy. And at the close of a Friday, I now had to sort easing doors, and trying to get my plumber back from Gateshead, to refit the loo. The job wasn’t progressed enough when he came mid afternoon. All entirely avoidable . Being clearly unhappy about the difference between what I’d asked for and what I received, the response was that he’d had a worse day than I’d had. Wow. If you want to feel like you’re an incumbrance. These are the guys. This is my third or fourth fitting, and definitely my last.

If there was a rating 0 I would of put that, avoid this place at all costs absolute disgrace, I got a quote in the shop for laminate and booked my appointment in, so they turned up 4 weeks ago to be told they were 2 packs of laminate short, no beading and no underlay then was told I had to pay extra 107 on top of what I was originally quoted because of there mistake, so I agreed because I was in a rush for the flooring, so I was booked back in for 2 weeks time. Waited and waited till 3 o’clock to then ring and ask what time they would be coming to then be told “oh sorry forgot the fitter was on holiday” angry is a understatement.

Carpets were a good price and the staff at the store were great but the fitting of the carpets is where it all fell apart. Fitter used foul language and smoked on my door step leaving a foul smell in my house where my child lives. Wrong door bar was fitted in my living room going into the kitchen and the carpet on the stairs was starting to lift after a few days. After contacting the store they said someone would come out to fix this but they couldn’t give me a time so after sitting at home all day from 9-5 waiting for someone to come round, nobody did! No phone call nothing just didn’t show up. EDIT/ UPDATE - After being let down once I we agreed on Monday between 9/10 and yet again I was let down.
