Had a fantastic experience yesterday buying a Cartier watch as a present for myself. I have had an interest in watches for a while now, and the knowledge, expertise & customer service from Laings Watch Manager, Chris, was outstanding. Would highly recommend anyone considering buying a luxury watch to consider Laings, and I will hopefully be back fairly soon for my next purchase.

Couldn't ask for better service....just went in to see if I could get my watch strap adjusted. The staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful, especially considering it is a complimentary service. Not only was the watch strap fixed but had a beautiful coffee and biscuit while waiting for it to be done. Thank you

After looking at the Hamilton & Inches and Laings websites before traveling to Edinburgh from the USA, we decided that Laings was the best place to go for a sapphire and diamond ring. And we were not wrong! They had many different designs and more platinum settings than H&I. They were well stocked in the Edinburgh location, even with no advance appointment. The best part of our Laings experience though, was the good fortune of being helped by Ruth. She was knowledgeable, professional, warm and friendly. She put me at ease from the word hello and showed me several designs that I would not have otherwise considered. Rarely, am I swayed from my first thought on a piece of jewelry. But at Ruth’s gentle suggestion, I ended up trying on a ring that I adored. And I have enjoyed it everyday since walking out the door with it right on my hand. We wanted to get on with our day in Edinburgh. So our whole experience at Laings, while never feeling rushed, took less than an hour. That said, we were offered coffee, tea or bubbly. With more time and Ruth’s good company, I could have stayed all afternoon! Finally, a word about pricing - Laings is not a discount jewelry seller. That said, my husband and I felt that the prices were very fair given the quality of the pieces offered, at the high level they were executed. Go to Laings in Edinburgh and ask for Ruth, if you want a top notch experience. You will not be disappointed!
