I had a bad experience with this tree stump remover I hired. The job was supposed to include removing the stump 30cm/1 foot below ground level. However, they only cut it to ground level and left chippings all around it, even using my rake to pile them up. To make matters worse, they ended up damaging my decking. When I asked them to fix their mistakes and pay for the decking replacement, they refused, blaming my decking for being old. I do not recommend this guy as he did a poor job and ignored my requests for a resolution.
