Best café I've experienced on the approach to the ferry port. Filter coffee was a bonus

Been many years since I was here and it's still a beautiful spot for a snack and coffee. It's more of a drivers cafe but worthy of a stop.

Lovely little gem of a place. Delicious bacon bun and sausage bun and great coffee we had. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on a trip up to Cairnryan. We saw the roadside sign beforehand and stopped in the lay by expecting a catering trailer, but it's an attractive wooden cabin.Set beside a sea inlet, there's a pleasant view out to the rear. There's also several wooden pub benches outside for those who enjoy fresh air, smoking or have a dog with them.Inside there are four or five tables, mostly seating six. Interestingly, the chairs look like they came from a church, but are still comfortable enough. There is a good choice of food of the breakfast variety, to either eat in or takeaway. Prices are very reasonable. We both had the full breakfast, which was £6 each and one tea, one coffee. Total £15. The tea was a bit tasteless, but everything else was very good indeed. Payment is cash only, no cards. They have a ladies and gents customers toilets, although not wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is level access though. The Kettle is popular with locals and is worth stopping for if you're in the area.

Came across this beaut of a place on my way up to Girvan. Lovely views, the lady working was nice and helpful and pleasant. Food was amazing. Will recommend this place to all my trucking colleagues.

Lovely coffee and a roll. Also best gipsy cream biscuit I've had. Sat out back in peaceful surroundings. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely go again.

I’ve passed this place so many times and wanted to try it and finally today we were able to stop and on the way from the ferry. Quaint, cosy and completely charming with a beautiful view of the water, trees and birds. Teas, coffees, treats and very tempting bacon baps on offer. Best of all, it’s clearly got regulars who stop by for a chat and friendly cup of tea.

What happened to the little gem on a75 near gatehouse of fleet on the drive to Stranraer? It looks like the owner lost interest had breakfast, would give it 6 out of 10 ,lovely place to stop in the past very disappointing it turned into a greasy spoon truck stop ,needs a update or new caring owner and staff ,doesn't feel welcoming anymore ,chip in mugs , on plus side coffee was ok ,not sure if i would go back when passing, time to find another stop to eat suggestion wellcome
