High price and long wait to get my recent delivery. I will shop around next time as they appear not to reward loyalty

First - I placed an order for 1700 litres as a loyal customer - on the 12th December but they couldn't deliver for Christmas - which leaves me short and anxious about running out over the holiday. Secondly, they told me they could not hasten the order - even though I am a loyal customer. Thirdly - when I went to a competitor, they did not verify the Rix statement, that they have been sooooo overwhelmed with orders - that they cannot deliver. Fourth - when I ordered a top up from another provider - they would not refund the difference until after their order had been delivered - even though this was 2 weeks time. Fifth - I finally cancelled their order and went to another provider, but they arsily told me I would still have to wait for my re-fund. What a way to do business and what a way to treat a loyal customer - who is not longer loyal.

Very friendly, efficient outfit. Advised me of the cheapest options available to me to save me money which they didn't have to do. Very honest and they haven't let me down in over 5 years.

These guys got me out of a jam. We’d run out of oil just as the really cold weather came! Placed my order online. Spoke to their central office to beg for an even faster delivery than their express service, who were vaguely helpful without actually promising anything. Following day I rang the local depot at wymondham who had oil in our tank within 4 hours. Very impressed and grateful. All confirmed with text messages and generally good communication.

Outstanding service!I moved into a new house in the middle of a hit from ‘the beast from the east’ and had no oil in the tank. After phoning around all the big companies desperately the earliest they could give me any oil was three weeks ahead. Rix managed to sort me out within days and were cheaper too! They’ve gained themselves a customer for life and I would happily recommend them to everyone I know.

Appalling customer service, very happy to let people down and not even inform them. After ten years and £100,000's of business I am shocked.
