Great beach but lots of sharp oyster shells on beach so can easily get lots of cuts without beach shoes. Ample parking most days and there is a cafe there open 10 till 5 toilets on other side of access road and a small play area. A very high tide will restrict access to the island so check tides before you leave. Not seen any lifeguard when I have been there. Campsite next door as well.

Great beach, especially for dog walks. You can spend the morning walking the dog at the beach and getting some beach air in your lungs. Then pop into the victory, white hart or coast inn for some lunch. It is a lovely place to visit regardless of the season.

Take a pack lunch the sea is muddy and lots of pebbles which my boys end up cutting their feet. Got a bad place but could we do with more things there?

Not the best beach to find if I’m honest. Sandy and stoney and when the tide is out bit of a mud Pitt. Good for the kids crabbing maybe or she’ll collecting. Didn’t want to stay long lots of little jumping bugs etc. not for me but it was empty and did have good toilet facilities and a shop to get water and food.

Loads of beach huts to hire, toilets are easily accessible and clean. The beach is half stone and half sand and was very clean. The water is rated as clean. The only downside was the cash-only cafe that sits beside a card-only car park.

Beautiful beach. Great area to walk as well as kayak or paddle board. Vivis Seaview shop has great cakes, ice cream & sweeties! Then 2 Sugars cafe further down the beach with a lot of seating offers a big choice on their menu

Lovely beach walk, not the softest of sand but still nice. Also home to the nicest beach huts in the UK. The pastel huts at the far end are immaculate and make for the prettiest pictures!
