Excellent selection of Malaysian sauces. I simply cannot be bothered to make my own sambal paste; the Signature variety does the job nicely. I mainly use it for fried rice dishes. Add the signature sauce, soy sauce, belacan, garlic, ginger, and an egg, and you're good to go. I'd eat them everyday if I could. The Fire Chilli version I usually use in pasta or noodle dishes when I'm not in the mood for gochujang but want a non-linear source of heat that a plain finger chilli cannot provide. Not tried the others yet but will consider getting the rendang next. Good job Will! Please don't stop making these sauces, they're what keeps me going until the next time I can go back home to KL lol

I love these sauces, especially the satay one. My partner bought me the complete set of sauces for our anniversary, and Will included a personalized note for us. Really excellent product and customer service.

I am Malaysian and am utterly disgusted by these sauces. To call these sauces 'Authentic Malaysian' is a disgrace to Malaysia, as they taste nothing like any true Malaysian sauce. I had high expectations but am truly disappointed. I tried the 'Fire Hot' sauce yesterday and it was nothing but a very sweet version of a mild chilly sauce. I just tried the 'Satay Sauce' and this has to be the worst ever so-called 'satay' sauce that I can only describe it as an abomination. Unfortunately, I have three other bottles left and I certainly have no expectations of these either. A BITTER DISAPPOINTMENT! These sauces have obviously been practically destroyed to cater for the local market and it has turned out to be a total disaster. Order #6082

Just saw your product featured on an episode of Dragon’s Den and I loved it :) Hopefully one day you’ll import to Australia too as I would love to try some.

Watched Will in the den and ordered 3 jars right away! I've never really tried chilli pastes before but these are DELICIOUS! You can use them for building into sauces, on their own as a chutney, as a marinade and more! The online shopping experience was lovely and personalised. Plus, the Man Tok team are very helpful and engaged with their audience on social media, suggesting recipes and helping you cook dishes inspired by their products so it's a win win!

First found this after watching Dragons den.The pitch was one of the most emotional pitches I've seen in the Den and we immediately bought the taster set.I Loooooooooove the signiture pot and love cooking it till it goes gooey and sticky in chicken.The satay is my second fave and I normally don't like SatayDeffo buy some, they are totally worth it and we are now on our second purchase of another 4 pots

We received all of the sauces as a gift from a dear friend after a conversation about how much we miss authentic Malaysian food. Christmas being what it was last year, we immediately decided to make ourselves some nasi lemak, which chicken marinated in the signature sauce, and the rest as a side. The taste and the smell was so authentic, we were both in tears - him cause of the spice and me cause it was a feeling at home during unsettling times! We both have our favourite sauces - he likes the sweeter, nuttier satay sauce, while I am a big fan of the signature sauce with a generous side of the fire chilli paste! What made our Christmas even more special was that the boys personally drove the bundle all the way to Leeds to deliver it to us, making our Christmas that much more special. I could not recommend Mak Tok any higher! Sambal is life!

I ordered 4 sauces and 2 dips for my friend after watching the dragon's den episode (not for myself as I don't live in the UK). He has tried two so far and is in love with the Rendang paste and definitely wants to order more :) I hope I will get to try it too someday !
