Wonderful local shop for all of your hat needs! Exceptional customer service from the lovely young man who’s name we didn’t catch - a brilliant salesman and clearly very passionate about the products. If you think you don’t need a hat, a trip to this little shop and a chat with him will change your mind!

I came to Cambridge to take some photos of the fantastic scenery & stumbled across Laird Hatters a fantastic hat shop. caps/hats do not usually suit me as I have quite a large head. But this was not a problem. A fantastic young gentleman called Elliot I believe. He was so informative and was very enthusiastic about the product. Extremely impressed and I look forward to coming back and buying some more caps.

I went this store a few months back. I was put off by one of the staff members, as their customer service, was lacking in experience. Even though they wanted to be helpful, it came across as smothering, and desperate to make the sale. Giving a obvious clueless, new starter vibe to help make the sale. In the end, I went to another outlet to make the purchase.Went back again to purchase from the Cambridge store and this individual was there again. Was hoping this person would have improved, having to be left alone to look after the store by themselves. Their mannerism was better, however when I showed them my card to get the 10% to 15% off, they put it at full price, and folded the receipt to ensure I could not see what they had done. Very disappointed with this individual’s manipulative character. I would recommend others to buy from their website or other outlets. Avoid the Cambridge store

A regular trip to Cambridge and today I decided to treat myself to a new hat, googled and found Lairds. Easy to find and what a fantastic experience. Now to begin the young lady was polite, extremely knowledgeable, helpful without being over the top and had all the time in the world to ensure I made the right purchase. Now come to selection, if you called here and weren’t able to find the hat you desired, do not bother to look elsewhere as it probably doesn’t exist! All types of hats, colours, variants and styles, the choice is simply near endless. Did I say about the helpful young lady? Well I recommend as I find and to me this is the “go to” shop when I purchase my next hat. Thank you young lady for your exquisite sales technique!

Wanted a good quality flat cap for years now so, I popped in to check them out while on vacation from the US. The sales woman was very helpful from fit to look and helped me pick out just the right cap. The quality of my cap is top notch, made in England too. I could have spent a lot less but, I would have got a lot less quality too. The cap I bought is top quality, well made with good materials and lined as well. I love my cap and recommend these hats!

Bought a great summer hat at the Cambridge shop some time back. I wanted a black version but the shop didn't have one that suited. Faye the assistant, had the company make me one to the same spec as my original. I picked it up today and it's a great hat! Thanks for the effort. Get ahead get a hat.

I ran into Laird Hatters at the very end of a work trip in Cambridge. It's the most beautiful store, with the most gorgeous hats and caps. The ladies who work there are really sweet and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I ended up purchasing two caps, gifting one to my husband. It fits perfectly and I love mine! It's a very special place. I recommend to all!
