Green Man
As a local in Colne, I was pleasantly surprised to find such a legendary pub. This is an intimate venue and as I'm new to the area I'd say it's my new favourite. I ordered the pork belly and was I surprised by how large the portion and tastiness of the pork! An absolute pleasure. The owner is a very nice chap too.The biggest seller: my partner is vegetarian and The Green Man, has it's own vegan menu.... That was it! We will be coming back for plenty more meals and a pint.

Not too bad. Food was pretty bland and not very well cooked. I had gammon and chips with peas.The gammon was undercooked (not raw), but with no colour at all, the fat was not crispy or rendered down at all. The chips were over cooked, and the peas looked like they were out of a tin and the egg was hard and over cooked (supposed to be a fried egg).It's a shame that the food let's this lovely local pub down. I know times are hard, but getting gammon and chips right can't be that difficult.On a plus side, the Guiness tasted great.

This is a very nice little country pub. A few friends and I visited on our motorcycles for a bike meet on Wednesday evening. There where around fifty bikes there altogether. The landlords also put on a special bikers menu. I had a bacon roll. We will hopefully be visiting the green man more regularly. All the people and staff were friendly. And some fantastic bikes to look at.

Bought some ribs with chips and a cola. Very friendly staff and quick service even when it was packed. The very end of the ribs was slightly undercooked but that was the very end of it. The rest of the ribs were fine. I noticed they had a very large selection of drinks and also would make exceptions for those with allergies. My father and friend enjoyed their food too. Would definitely recommend as the prices were fair and the food was excellent.

Came here for bike night yesterday, lovely food and an amazing service. Everyone is so friendly here which you don't usually get with other pub venues. An another thing to point out, is if you're a woman whose on her monthly they have free pads and tampons, in which other chains you would have to buy from the little box. I was honestly amazed.

Very helpful staff and I can only say the food was fantastic I had the steak with chips and home made onion rings all cooked just as I like it and a good pint as well thanks

Stopped for lunch today. Refreshingly friendly and pleasant staff, esp the 2 ladies. Welcoming to everyone. Good food and atmosphere.

Went to the first Tuesaday bike night at the Green Man. Had the pizza deal and it was 10/10. Staff could not be more friendly. Have added it to our list of regular rides out. Some really nice winding roads too. What's not to love.
