Great service ! Douvet wash!!

I arrived 20 minutes before closing time on Tuesday 24th Oct for the first time and I was welcomed with a smile from the attendant. She advised me the the laundrette was closing shortly and allowed me to dry my clothes up until closing time. Even though she had loced away the change I required to dry my clothes, the attendant offered to provide some change for me, which was really nice her. We left at 19.01 and she said I could fold up my clothes which would have meant her staying much later so I declined her kind offer so that she could leave on time. People like herbare hard to come by... Thank you for your kindness, really appreciated it.

I opted for a service wash, and specifically asked the lady running the service washes to not tumble dry any of my silk or delicate items. Before I left, I had ensured she understood my request. Despite her acknowledging my request, she ignored this, and tumble dried half of ‘my silk items (some of which I had placed in a special bag, which is created for washing silk garments, so it ought to have been abundantly clear that the items were delicate). Consequently, I have had hundreds of pounds worth of items ruined, which I will now have to throw out. I am extremely disappointed by this abysmal service.
