I took my daughter and nephew here over a year ago record shopping and was served by a lovely young lady. I went there again at the end of this August. There were two men at the counter, one was serving and the other was organising some vinyl. I waited patiently to be served, when the guy finish with he's customer, he proceeded to start doing something else. I had to then prompt the other man for service. As a woman of minortaised background I was invisible to them, despite the fact I was standing at the counter.I choice not to write a review straight away as I was very upset. As a non white female DJ of over 30 years I continue to experience barriers in the music and DJ world, even when visiting record shops time and time again. When will this change, shame on you Phonica. What should matter is the unity of music and the colour of my money.

Good shop. Lots of listening stations and a nice selection of new and used electronic music. Cool they are supporting and featuring local smaller labels new releases too. Super kind lady at the desk too.

Second time here. And I love the place and the selection, but, PLEASE LOOSEN THE ANTI-THEFT CORD ON THE HEADPHONES a bit :) I'm not a particularly tall guy but it pulls my head down all the time. the listening experience should be pleasant, not irritating. Nonetheless, very much recommended ✌️

Great record shop we visited on a trip to London that coincided with Record Store Day. Managed to pick up a few of the special releases I was after as well as several others by my favourite artists. Plenty of room to move around and very helpful staff. Recommended!

A decent assortment of records here with some nice hip hop finds which is usually uncommon. Great listening areas too, a very peaceful break from the hustle of the high street. Some leftover RsD titles too so make sure you get in to cop.

Six record listening limit - are you joking? On the one hand I left with a few blinding records I would never have found thanks to person (a) behind the counter. I commented on what was playing in store and he handed me a treasure trove. He was a record-store-gold-nugget.Person (b) behind the counter - an Irishman - was acting like he was doing me and my mate a favour by letting us breathe the same air as him. We buy plenty of vinyl from you and other outlets and have never been told to ‘go listen on the iPad’ after only six tunes each? There couldn’t have been more than 8 people in the store.Hugely disappointing and renders you a record store to which we won’t return. That Irish guy was so extremely rude and he taints the reputation of your entire establishment.Did he not get the memo that being rude and superior to your customers from behind a record bar is very 1990’s?
