The Cadies & Witchery Tours
Mr. Clapperton and many different historical ghosts have walked us through the main ghost and gore stories in significant places of Edinburgh. The tour was genuine fun, entertaining and interacting with each and everyone from the group. It was my third time in Edinburgh and third time attending this tour because is my favourite one, and it's nice to see how it has been changing through the year, implementing the level of fun and the interest from the public!

Me and my family took the Witchery Ghosts & Gore Tour. It was a great experience for all of us, two adults and three kids (15, 13 and 8 yo). All of us enjoyed the mix of drama, interesting stories and learning a bit of Edinburgh history. The distance was doable also for the younger child and the guide took us to some interesting places, wynds and closes around the Royal Mile. I highly recommend the tour.

I can only recommend. We booked this tour months before coming to Edinburgh, not really knowing if we were going to like it or not, but it turned out great. The guide and his accomplice were both really funny, and knew very well how to talk with an audience of very various people. I am not a big fan of history and still adored it all. The fact that it gives you gory and spooky details about places you're walking through, without forgetting to make you laugh, was super fun.Thanks to the two guides for being so nice, and always being careful about the group too !

we chose the Ghost and Gore tour and were very happy to have done so! The tour was fun and just the right amount of spooky, and we learned a ton about the city! The guide was perfect and made everyone tremble and laugh! The surprises and jumpscares were very fun as well and added to the experience. If you are into dark history and are looking for a fun early evening in the decidedly haunted streets of old town Edinburgh, we gladly recommend this tour!

We love walking tours and have done our fair share, and this one was definitely the most unique! We were concerned at first that it would be moreso geared towards children, but it wasn't like that at all! It's fine for all ages, but as 2 adults, we were also very much entertained the whole time! It was hilarious, quirky, and full of interesting stories. The guides really get into character to make it a fun experience, and they take you to areas you likely wouldn't see on your own. We can't recommend this tour enough!

This tour was fantastic! It was a small group so it was very personal. Our guide (and his cousin David) both provided their own stories that they’ve personally researched, so we learned bits that we wouldn’t have learned elsewhere. It was amazing! Thanks robin and cousin David - you both killed it!

This is just for the shop, I didn't take the tour. It's a neat little shop though, lots of odd goods and the right gifts for the right people. The staff was friendly and explained things to us.Reading the other reviews- I think I would look to taking the tour next time!

I really enjoyed the 90 minute small group tour of Greyfriars Kirkyard. Robin was very knowledgeable about the history of the people buried at Greyfriars-and as an added bonus- he pointed out several of the graves with names that inspired J.K. Rowling’s book characters. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was fantastic. A few jump scares, really educational and we saw a few areas off of the Royal Mile that we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. The two hosts were exceptionally engaging. Younger children might find some of it heavy going but my 14 year old nephew and my 34 year old self loved it!

Alexander and his co-worker are funny, involving, interactive. The trip doesn’t take much time to walk. Experience orientation, I highly recommend it. Learn a lot about dark side of Edinburgh history, Don’t miss this tour
