Overdrive MOT & Service Centre - BATLEY

Hello - Newly passed and wanted some help to replace brake pads, spoken to Muhammad at Batley and was told to instruct Hassan and the team at Overdrive Batley. Booked an app at the garage and went down and job done on time. I am very happy with the service and would recmend anyone who is newly passed and wants car repairs to be done to see Hassan and the team at Overdrive Battley. Has changed management recently, so took my car down expecting what I had expected over the last few year's going to this place. Used to be amazing. Partially repaired my vehicle (though took nearly a week) but felt the pricing wasn't fair, so sourced my own parts and even then the labour cost was extortionate. Initial fault was fixed but had a separate problem arise during the repair process which the garage didn't know how to fix.Needless to say I traced the old manager down who has a garage just round the corner to this place who fixed the fault in a matter of hours. Fair pricing too. Fixed the car and asked without me even telling them whether my vehicle had been worked on by other people as there was some unexpected damage. Not sure if this was accidental or manufactured to increase the cost.Feel disappointed in what was a really well run garage. Won't be coming back here anymore, will definitely use the garage round the corner who had managed Overdrive initially.

Had my MOT - and some additional work that came as a result - done by the team, and really grateful for the updates they provided and impressed with the work they put in to sort out some issues with the car.

Had MOT done here and was a professional and super friendly experience from start to finish. Had a few fails but nothing major especially for a 2004 Peugeot car. All the issues were corrected and at a good price too. The boss actually went above and beyond to save me money. Highly satisfied and will be using Overdrive batley every MOT in future.

Had knocking issue. Came in and left the car around 9:30am with no booking. Accepted my repair request. 11:00am told me possible issue and parts and labour cost. 12:30pm final call to confirm no knocking anymore after replaced parts recommended by mechanics and ready to pick up.

Scammers told me need engine rebuild on my bmw turned out to be coil pack issue 2nd opinion from another garage who said it only needs a coil pack change and has been fine ever since
