Danny Giles - Guitar Tuition

Danny is a very personable and knowledgeable tutor who has been able to hone into what I want out of lessons when I can be vague and unsure myself. I've been going to him for about three months now and I feel I've come on leaps and bounds in comparison to the almost ten years of playing I had under my belt before. He is more expensive than most of the other tutors/schools, but I can assure you that you're getting a much better standard of tutorship from someone who has spent his entire life in the music industry. I speak from experience when I say 'buy cheap, buy twice.

I reached out to Danny about a year ago after taking up guitar again. Being self taught I wanted to improve so needed some lessons. In that time my playing has come on leaps and bounds both technically and theoretically. Danny is a great teacher and is always there to push you when needed. On top of this he is also a great bloke and I always look forward to my lessons with him.

Danny is not only a phenomenal guitar player but also an exception teacher. No matter what type of music or the complexity of it, his ability to break it down and communicate it to you in such a way that any player of any level can pick it up is what really makes him stand out. Time spent with Danny is single handedly one of the best investments one could make to become an accomplished guitarist! I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

As a former Deputy Head of further education at BIMM, I have observed Danny teach over a number of years. Danny is a very fine guitar player and a great communicator. I’ve seen him inspire many music students in both 1-1 and a classroom environment and lead them to success in a variety of musical pursuits, such as solo performance and band performance and he engages his guitar students brilliantly. His playing is of a completely professional standard and is a superb performer in his own right (something which is not always the case with many ‘dining room’ guitar teachers) I recommend Danny as the tutor to go to for this area 100%.

I've been taking lessons with Danny for several years. He is an excellent teacher and really targets his teaching for particular. Although I've been playing for years, I've learned so much from him and it's massively improved my playing. Thoroughly recommend him. Really does his best for his students.
