Milton Keynes Arts Centre

I've just finished attending the Pottery For All 5 week course. I just wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation for the tutor, Andy McDermott. He has been absolutely excellent and has added no end to my enjoyment of the course. He is a brilliant tutor and seems to effortlessly manage his time between the whole class and make sure everyone is given the amount of attention they need. He is extremely knowledgeable on his subject matter and is able to communicate this knowledge in a way that no matter what experience you have, everyone understands. His positive and helpful nature has made this course the highlight of my week. I will definitely be attending another of Andy's courses in the future.A big thanks to Andy and everyone else at the Arts Centre who have made this a brilliant experience

I visited with my family for a couple of craft workshops, we all had a good time. The people running the courses were really knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. The setting is calm and relaxing. Overall a really pleasant experience I would recommend to anyone who likes arts and crafts.

Lovely space with some really cool workshops and engagements with the community, in a beautiful location by the Great Linford Manor Park and the canal. After viewing the venue a few times and chatting to the extremely friendly and helpful staff (Zoe has been particularly great), my fiancé and I fell further in love with the place, and we have decided to have our wedding reception here next summer! We couldn't be more excited, and we really recommend visiting for the regular workshops or events which are hosted here - this is a real asset to the community in Milton Keynes.

Centre for various classes set in a beautiful village in North MK. Café is very basic, just hot drinks and crisps/biscuits, but a pleasant enough pit stop before walking in the Great Linford park and arboretum.

I attended full of fun and creativity ceramic course. I enjoyed it enormously. It took long time to get pieces back and some were missing, however the course itself was very enjoyable.

The art centre is fine, but the walk is much better.

Booked for post funeral event.Fantastic communication from staff, even during the Christmas period.They were happy to be flexible with timings, charging us just one hour earlier in the day for set up and then only what we needed for the event later on.Great space with everything you need.

Not only a great place for learning crafts, but set in a beautiful area next to Great Linford Manor and At Andrew's church. Andy McDermott is a great ceramics tutor, knowledgeable and encouraging. I now have my own wheel. The arts centre now has a community kiln where you can get your stoneware glazed and fired for a reasonable price. Clay is available, £10 for 12.5kg at present. Please contact the arts centre for more information and the form for firing if you want to use their kiln.

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at MKAC, and it was perfect. Great location, excellent artist who showed the kids how to draw cats, and the communication throughout was top notch.
