Updated ReviewAfter further discussion with the business and the business owner I am pleased things have worked out and the service and faith I have been accustomed too with the firm has been renewed.Before the recent bad experience I never had any issue and would always recommend them to others.They were always my go to place for timber so I am pleased things have been resolved.I give 5 stars and have been assured the recent experience was just a blip.Thank you again Mr Brown for the reassurance.____________________________________________Absolutely shocking Customer ServiceAfter previously having good relations with this firm and first class correspondence from the warehouse regarding previous order updates to pleasantries with the delivery driver.To what I can only describe as an absolutely farcical response.After having spent nearly £1,000 on materials over three orders I receive the latest with no prior phone call from the delivery driver to say their en route, which has always been the case in the past. I get home to the delivery on my drive and delivery note in the letter box.Upon inspection I can see the delivery is not complete and is missing key components needed to complete my task.I phoned the shop straight away at 9.30am, polite and concerned they asked me details about the delivery and said I will receive a call straight back.No call came, fast forward to the afternoon and several calls to their office to no response just a constant ringing line, I eventually get through at approximately 2.15pm and speak to a lady who I can only describe as not really suited to answering telephones".When asked why I was calling! I explained what had happened and was expecting a call back with news she replied she's unsure and will find out who took my call.A lengthy wait on hold only to be told the product is not in stock!I asked when I could expect the delivery to which she responded "I don't know

Have dealt with Hancock and Brown for many years, a traditional family run business who value and respect relationships with customers and suppliers alike. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

Ordered the Rose Plus Artificial Grass for the garden and it looks stunning. Excellent service, excellent on Delivery, excellent 37mm Quality. Well happy with it!

Great service from ordering the hardware I required to the point of delivery. cant fault the service.

Been using Hancock and Brown throughout my garden project over the last 6 months. Prices are cheap and transparent (which can be challenging with builders merchants as a diy-er). Delivery cost is also very reasonable (think most I paid was about £4) and great service from delivery drivers when accommodating requests.

Used the company a few times in past years, but never realised any problems with your delivery services. May I just complain the dangerous and rude delivery driver here as this is part of your services.On Wednesday at about 15.40 at the roundabout of Derwen Fawr Road and A4216, your truck （PN60 OBW） delivery driver just rushed out the roundabout without reduced the speed and watched right handside, I have to force to stop and horn him to watch, but he horned back and gave us rude reaction after the vehicles are parallel and then horned again while he leaving.Shame on this service!
