Formula One Autocentres - Erdington

Used Formula 1 this week based on their competitive quote for my car servicing and combined mot. Although no real hardsell on potential extras. My only concern was that the tripometer had been zeroed and recorded a 20 miles test drive. Not sure that length of usage was warranted when most services would consider 1-2 miles sufficient.

Erdington branch. Service & Mot. Additional work to fit cabin filter (mann cu2436) £36.75, Labour £25, plus Vat. In hindsight I feel this is excessive. Iam not happy with the way I was spoken to, on the telephone, by the employee at reception. Customer lost.

Second time using this company and both times they offered the best price for Michelin Pilot sport 4S tyres. I also missed out on a deal on their website but after speaking with a helpful lady over the phone (Jade) she honoured the discounted price under their price guarantee. Both the customer service and tyre fitting service were very professional and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

I was unfortunate to have a puncture on M42 . I was towed to Formula One and the treatment I received from Will and his team was first class . Will sourced a tyre for me and as promised my car was ready Monday morning. Can’t recommend this place enough . Thank you Will

One of the least skilled staff and manager I ever came across in the UK. They have no idea what to do when engine related issue pops up. Zero customer service. Total waste of time and money charged me with 1000£ for fixing my Vauxhall astra engine heating problem. Car could only survive for couple of days and engine heating problem still the same. If you want to destroy your car take it to this garage. Never recommend this auto centre 0/5

Been using formula one fir years.Car had its MOT on Saturday, from booking, dropping car off,to collection, everyone is ALWAYS polite, courteous and proffessional. Even if they do tell my husband it would be cheaper to get me a bus pass (always laugh at how little mileage I do), would highly recommend, see you Next Year.

Helped me out quickly with a screw that went in my rear tyre (thankfully the mid section), with no prior appointment (called a few nearby shops). Paid £25 (August 2023). Good, quick service and a friendly crew, seemed like they were having fun while at work!

A tyre change & tracking done in less than 40 minutes. Charged a little more than originally quoted due to some unforeseeables. No messing decent garage, friendly staff asking the relevant questions. Good to know got a good garage close enough. On my radar. Keep it up

Placed an order online for a set of 4 new tyres to be put on for a specific date and time. Placed the order a week before. Turned up and was told only 1 tyre is there so to come back about 4ish as a delivery might come. I found that abit suspicious so i rang the customer service team.The fella said that 3 tyres had been dropped off on the 23rd and 1 today and thats the staff at the centre did not bother checking the inventory either and just wanted to get rid of me as he said to book me in for another day as they was busy, which they was but thats not my problem as i have pre-booked and paid 380£ . I explained i have booked a specific time and due to my availability and that i paid for a service which i have not received.He contacted his area manager who said sorry were short staffed so cannot get you booked in anywhere today. Which is shame so i have requested and instant refund which was actually given straight away.Its a shame i tried someone new a what a disappointed experience. Guess its true to stick to your regular garage.

Jay, Will and the team have been excellent each time I visit. They don’t mess about but they do take the time explain any issues they’ve come across. Every time I’ve needed them to they’ve managed to fit me in last minute and have got me out again relatively quickly. Had to stay for an extended time today (September 2023) due to multiple issues cropping up with the car but they were kind in making sure I was still out somewhat quickly as I had to get to work.
