Jen Rumble Family Mediation

Unfortunately, we were not happy with the service and can’t agree that it is highly professional. We had a complicated family issue requiring a mediator involvement and I explained our situation very clearly in my first contact with Jen. We however have been invited to the initial assessment meeting, where we have been asked lots of unrelated detailed questions, only to be told that our case does not suit to Jen’s mediation scheme / service. I was left wondering what I have paid £120 for? I understand that the purpose of the assessment meeting is to see whether the family mediation is suitable, however, as a professional, Jen should be able to classify unsuitable cases at a very early stage.Also, I have to say that after being rejected by Jen we approached another mediation practice providing similar service. They happily agreed to assist us with our case and did not suggest that it is unsuitable for mediation, which raises another doubt about Jen’s professionalism.

Great service and she is very helpful. Worked around me and stayed late. Would highly recommend. Also didn't recommend addition work just to bump up the cost and she's very affordable in the 1st place.

Jen was open, friendly, and flexible - we came to the agreement that mediation wouldn’t help in my situation due to the circumstances, but I would use Jen again should mediation be suitable.

Jen took Caroline and I through the mediation process in a very smooth and compassionate way, dealing with all of the aspects we needed tackle to bring about our separation and eventual divorce... the financial settlement was agreed under mediation and latterly bound by the use of a solicitor. Not getting solicitors involved was the way we wanted to go, only using them to the bare minimum.Being able to talk and kept on a pathway of what needed to be done was incredibly helpful, extremely efficient (in hindsight), and the process was not at all stressful. Jen actioned Caroline and I to complete what needed to be done between meetings and kept us very much on track.I highly recommend Jen to anyone.
