First class service from start to finish. Linda was so helpful and patient helping me find the perfect sofa to fit through my narrow doorways. Beautiful showroom with plenty of choice and very competitive prices. I love my new sofa and it even arrived earlier than expected. Thank you Barkers!

We ordered goods to the value of £2000 2 divans, 2 bedside and 1 console table. 1 divan damaged upon delivery, 1 divan broke within 3 weeks of having been delivered, wrong bedside tables delivered and console table delivered damaged. Try to shop local where we can however the quality is simply not worth it, still waiting for the issues to be addressed and sorted. Would have got better quality from Argos or Ikea. Obviously changed their suppliers over the years to the detriment of their business and customer satisfaction. Will not shop or recommend Barkers Furniture again.

Sadly visited both the showrooms. Very quiet, just left to our own devices. Was not approached or asked if we needed any assistance, or what we were looking for?? Staff just sat behind desk, didn't even look up, make eye contact or say hello or acknowledge us in any way??So after a while we just left a.d went to another showroom across town. Very disappointed. Tried to buy a.d support local. Disappointed .

Ordered a single divan bed, and the quality for what we paid is poor, I’ve noticed now with most of the furniture they sell it’s just overpriced tat, shame as it used to be a decent shop not anymore it seems.

A family owned furnishing store with loads of choice in their show room. The staff were helpful, listened to my needs and then left me to choose in my own time. There was no hard sell so I went away to think about the styles I'd seen. When I went back they helped me choose the right fabric and also suggested a delivery trial before I committed to a purchase as I have awkward stairs to negotiate. Highly recommend a visit for your next furniture purchase.

Had a wardrobe delivered just before Xmas.At the same time, I ordered additional shelves for it.The wardrobe was delivered and fitted with no issues, but I had to pick the shelves up, which originally I expected and knew they were coming from abroad and might take a while, but given it took until March for them to get to the shop, I did think they might drop them off as an act of good faith.I noticed when fitting the shelves, that the thin panels that make up the back of the wardrobe were very easy to accidentally push through and would ideally be better supported from the outside. Easy to do when fitting, not so easy now it's in place and remembering you are advised not to move them.

Delighted with all aspects of our dealings with Barkers. High quality furniture at great value for money prices. All the staff, in store and delivery/fitting were excellent.

Great variety of all kinds of furniture. Helpful staff. Found just what I was looking for at a great price. Quality.
