Fantastic place to dine. Arrived after 7pm with no booking as travelling with work. Seated quickly and the service was fantastic. Had the rib eye steak cooked perfectly and cut like butter. Sarah our waitress was fantastic very helpful and always smiling. Will return as soon as I'm in the area again. Thank you

The staff were friendly, patient and professional. Despite being a busy evening we never felt we were waiting for anything.Our attentive and festive waitress Carol was a model of hospitality. The food was good and well presented, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant and toilets were clean and well presented.

Flying Shuttle
Returning to where my fiancée and I med on my return from Afghanistan, for a meal. We return every year (except during the plague) and the food we had this time, was probably the best we ever have had. The staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive. Good prices for both food and drinks.

Food is good, not the best, but it is hot and tasty. We normally sit at the tables that are not waiter/waitress service. But they are polite and very helpful. Normally, we go on a lunchtime, so the ambience is minimal. The whole building is looking somewhat tired. Hopefully, a refit is on the cards. Overall, I would say Flying Shuttle is worth a try.

We had a lovely table that accommodated the dog we bought with us. A water bowl was bought over. The staff were excellent and did not rush us with the roast dinner. We had puddings also and drinks. A really super Sunday lunch experience.

Ate recently. Sharing board to start - very nice, but not enough bread for the generous amount of Humus. Chicken burgers were big, and the Sweet Potatoe and Chickpea curry was very tasty.Service was attentive and friendly despite being a bit short staffed.There were three adults and 3 teenagers. Paid £110 for 2 courses and drinks, so very good value for money.

We arrived at 6pm and was seated very quickly & we were able to order drinks right away however after this it went downhill very quickly. The restaurant did not seem busy (we were the largest party) however timings were atrocious, we had a couple stragglers & it took the staff a good while before they had offered them a drink (they had visited the table so could see new people had arrived but completely disregarded them.) food then took over an hour after we had ordered to come out. 4 of my party ordered the hunters chicken & all of them suffered with food poisoning afterwards (vomiting & diarrhoea) which considering they all had the same thing is pretty obvious what did it, which we do not feel is acceptable. Alcoholic drinks tasted stale & all in all this was not a good experience with the flying shuttle & as a party we will not be returning in future.+ when bringing the drinks over they just put them on the table rather than asking who’s was what & they didn’t make it clear what was normal Pepsi & what was Pepsi max even after being asked (drinks had to be returned) which was a very serious issue for us as we had a type 1 diabetic so if they’d have had the normal Pepsi thinking it was Pepsi max as told by the member of staff, it could’ve ended a lot worse if we did not point this out!
