Raavi Kebab House in Little India, called Drummond Street, London, a beloved London institution for more than three decades, holds a special place in my heart. My family and friends have gathered at this gem countless times, and we've even savoured their delectable dishes through personal visits and online orders. This restaurant is truly one of a kind, marked by exceptional service and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the menu, courteously provided by the General Manager, Mr. Faizaan Patel. What sets Raavi Kebab apart is the remarkable efficiency of their one-man team, led by the ever-attentive Mr. Faizaan Patel. From taking orders to serving food and presenting the check, he seamlessly orchestrates every aspect of the dining experience. His passion and expertise shine through as he describes the nuances of Pakistani specialties, a true delight for those like me, who have known these dishes for almost four decades. The most astonishing aspect of Raavi Kebab is that, over the years, the taste of their cuisine has remained as exceptional as ever.Their Pakistani Kebabs, cooked freshly on the open pit barbecue, are an absolute revelation, and the wide array of Pakistani dishes tantalize the palate like no other. It's a genuine treasure to find such sophisticated and authentic Pakistani cuisine in the heart of London, a place where people from all over the world can satisfy their cravings.Despite the test of time, Raavi Kebab has retained fair and reasonable prices that hardly waver in the face of inflation. This commitment to affordability makes the experience even more enjoyable. But what truly sets Raavi Kebab apart is its unparalleled service. The staff's dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience is second to none.I wholeheartedly wish the management, officers, and staff of Raavi Kebab continued progress on their journey to achieving the pinnacle of success in all their endeavors.Raavi Kebab is not just a restaurant; it's a cherished institution that will forever hold a special place in my heart and the hearts of many others who have had the privilege of dining there.Ash-Cash and Ashandkaren

Quality of food has declined in the past couple of years. We were served doughy, heavy naan and old curry last time we went.

This used to be the place to eat but has rapidly declined since covid. Once renowned for its superb thali and other great dishes, menu is now a shadow of its former self. Toilets are absolutely filthy!

The food was fabulous and delicious. I ordered chicken biryani , we’ll cooked generous amount (although it was not like authentic Karachi style but still tasted so good I ordered one for takeaway as well) and lamb nihaari, I must say the best nihaari I had in London to date. The place is a bit small but clean. The waiter was friendly and also got our nihaari reheated when I asked (because I like my dishes piping hot). The waiter told us it’s cash only Resturant but later managed to charged us via card machine, better to take cash with you

I'm all for local, low frills restaurant where the food is the highlight of the experience not the decor. However, when cleanliness is the issue it's a no no. The waiter didn't clean the table before we were seated. The toilet and wash basin area to clean your hands was filthy. The kitchen in the basement opens out to the staircase/ landing before you walk to the toilet so you get full view of the kitchen - anyone could walk in if you went the wrong way. The chefs aprons were filthy. The water jug filled with tap water looks like it's seen better days (we stuck to bottled water). Weren't given napkins or glasses for the water until we asked. Food was so so. The curries were the size of side dishes, considering you're paying £10 per dish really not worth it. It's a shame, it sounds like this place was a real community staple before and now it just screams we don't care about the customer, our food or atmosphere which is a real shame.

Don't let the bland interior and corny furniture mislead you, this is by far the single most authentic place for Pakistani food I have eaten in London in the 12 years of my life here as migrant. I googled the area for Halal food and the chicken shop next to Raavi Kebab came up, but it was too busy when so attended so decided to walk into here, must admit it was the best decision ever made, will always go there again whenever in the area next. The place is cash only though hence little inconvenient in this day and age.

Pakistani food does not get better than this in central London. Honest to goodness food, authentic. Arguably the best Nihari this side of the persian Gulf.

A very homely place rustic reminds you of burns road eateries service wise and atmosphere wise and food was really excellent we had Nihari Haleem daal and Seekh kebab they all were flavourful and the naan was cherry on the topping ….
