I recently visited TLScontact - Visa Application Centre in London for my France tourist visa appointment, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience.First and foremost, scheduling an appointment through the TLS website was an arduous task. The nearest available appointment was a month away, making planning my trip extremely challenging.On the day of my appointment, I arrived promptly at 12:00, as scheduled. However, the wait time was shockingly long, lasting over 3 hours. This excessive waiting period was both inconvenient and frustrating, especially for those with tight schedules or travel plans.One of the most baffling aspects of the process was the insistence on physical copies of documents. In an era where the world is moving towards paperless solutions, TLScontact's requirement for photocopies or printed documents felt archaic and environmentally unfriendly. There should be an option to submit scanned documents online, which would streamline the process and reduce the need for excessive paperwork.Overall, my experience at TLScontact - Visa Application Centre London was nothing short of disappointing. The difficulties in obtaining an appointment, the extensive waiting time, and the insistence on physical documents all contributed to a frustrating encounter. TLScontact needs to modernize its processes to align with the digital age and provide a more efficient and user-friendly service to its applicants.

Humongous queues if your appointment is not prime time or early in the morning. Spent 4 hours including biometry collection (2 hours application submission, 2 hours biometry).Passport collection is ridiculous as well, because if you forget to make a copy of your ID document, they can't do it. You need to walk 5 mins away to some shady convenience store and pay 2£ for it if paying with card. Quite rude girls almost throwing envelope to me.

My recent visa application experience at TLS contact London was far from being satisfactory.The appointment scheduling system seemed inefficient and disorganised. Despite arriving at 11:45am for a 12 noon appointment, I endured a lengthy wait time without any clear communication about delays. After sitting for 2 hours I went to the front desk to ask about my reference number that was not appearing on the screen and the man with cornrows said he didn’t know although he was the one who checked my documents at 11:45am.I then went to the front desk and there was one consultant lady who was free and I asked her what was happening with my appointment as it’s more than 2 hours of waiting, she said let me ask my manager and the good thing is the manager was there by the door entrance when my paperwork was being checked at 11:45am and he said that’s right she has been waiting for so long and he asked the lady to help me and that’s how I got to be served after 2 hrs 30 mins of waiting which is shocking and unacceptable.Unhelpful staff attitude- Staff was unhelpful and lacked professionalism. Basic inquiries were met with dismissive responses just like the man who was my first contact at the door but later said he didn’t know what was happening after more than 2 hrs.Overall this was my worst visa appointment which showed disorganisation and lack of communication throughout the process.

Went for a Schengen Visa interview and document submission for my trip to Germany. It’s a nightmare to get a visa appointment. The slots are randomly opened. No specific date, time or order. Once you have the appointment, the process is quite easy. The staff were very helpful and it was very well organised compared my previous experience with other visa and passport application centres. They have onsite printing and photo services for extra money.

Me and my partner found information to be very hard to find prior to our appointments and went into them not knowing what documents we needed. We were misled with the wrong information at our appointment meaning our visas took a lot longer than they needed too. Luckily Jay got in contact with us and was super helpful. He made the whole process a lot less stressful and went above and beyond with information, communication and support! This whole company would run a lot smoother if everyone was as helpful as he is. 5/5 stars for Jay. 1/5 for the rest of TLS.

I am writing this review waiting at TLScontact office since 11:30 in the morning. They have now stopped displaying application name and are calling people name however they want. I don't know how much time I have to wait before giving my biometric. I have been waiting for almost an hour only for biometric. Cannot even take toilet break as I don't know when my name will be called. I left my home at 8:30 am, frustrated at the peak as I didn't had my lunch too.Update review,I noticed the lady who was taking biometric was browsing Facebook in between in her laptop. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour in any other company.

It is difficult to get a visa appointment online, the call centre tells you to try frequently but when u try frequently the site blocks u. after trying for 2 months for daily I finally got my appointment.Then it comes to the face to face experience with the staff. I do not understand that why everyone works there has a very rude facial expression. when they talk amongst themselves , they were smiling giggling and friendly, the moment they turn their face to the customers it is very upsetting. They were even snacking while taking the docs from customer, don't they get their snack break? Why do you treat your customers like third class citizens? we do pay money for this service, just try to give some respect for a fellow human.This lady who took my docs, kept mentioning my daughter as 'Your Son'. I corrected her couple of times saying she is my daughter, she kept mentioning Son, I think she it is purposefully because I corrected her.I wish this service can improve, because next time I want to apply for this visa, I am really worried that I have to go through the same experience all over again.

One of the least obnoxious visa centres in Europe; I would give 3.5 stars and lots of praise. It is easy to get a human on the phone, and unlike elsewhere, the staff stay friendly and helpful, and don’t flip out when some of your documents don’t fit their standards.On the other hand, they still take any opportunity to find fault with your professionally taken photos (forehead and ears covered by a few bangs, etc.) They no longer have the same issues when you spend £10 on photos taken by them, but still have one ear obscured.
