Ellie has helped me so much with my reactive rescue dog Holly. I wasnt coping with her & I don't know where we would be now if it wasn't for Ellie. Holly had spent over 2 years at a rescue centre where they believed she hated other dogs, but the first time Ellie met her she could see that it was just frustration. Ellie went out of her way to help us both over a few months & by the end of it Holly was going on group walks with other dogs & we were both so much happier. I could not recommend Ellie enough & will be forever grateful to her.

Ellie has been helping us with our dog reactive Ruby. Her advice and expertise has been incredible, and the additional support she has provided has been exceptional. She is so knowledgeable and it is clear she is so passionate about helping dogs with those sorts of problems with methods that focus on the dog being able to make the right choices - no forced methods. The welfare of the dogs she works with is her priority and as owners this is the main thing we wanted. Highly recommend.

I’ve been having regular behavioural advice/training from Ellie since our Cockerpoo came to our family. She is a very nervous dog and would cry every time we saw any other dogs and then pull me all the way home, which wasn’t a nice experience for either of us.Ellie has helped me over come this, and with hard work and the best advice/ training sessions our walks are now so much more enjoyable. She enjoys greeting other dogs and doesn’t pull on the lead anymore.I would highly recommend Ellie and couldn’t have done it without her!I am still continuing with the training as her anxiety affects her in other ways and will be taking advantage of the fabulous packages now offered.Thank you Ellie!

I contacted Ellie after searching through the ABTC listings of accredited behaviourists – I had originally booked an appointment with a trainer but after reading reviews that she sprays water at dogs I was horrified and wanted to find someone accredited and who used positive reinforcement techniques. I was originally apprehensive about an appointment on Zoom rather than face to face but Ellie reassured me that we would spend more time talking about the issues at hand via Zoom rather than worrying about dog behaviour when face to face and she was absolutely right!Rolo is an almost 2-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix who I rescued from Spain. He had originally been in 2 previous families, as well as a foster home while the shelter tried to rehome him. He wasn’t receiving the right attention in terms of enrichment or exercise and as a large, and very clever and sensitive dog he had become very stressed. Add into the mix a 40-hour journey over from Spain in a van and once he arrived, he had become overwhelmed and had bitten my neighbours 3-year-old daughter. This was an incredibly stressful time for me and as soon as I contacted Ellie I felt immediately reassured that I’d be able to get through the stress!I had 2 sessions over Zoom and both were totally invaluable. Not only did I come out with a tonne of practical tips, but I felt really validated that I wasn’t the only dog owner in the world to experience issues and I felt very listened to and that there was a clear path forward for me and Rolo. What I was particularly impressed by (and hadn’t expected) was the level of breed-specific information that Ellie was able to give to me. She was able to clearly delineate why and what Rolo was doing based on his genetics and upbringing, and that in itself just made so much sense as to why he was behaving in certain ways. This was completely above and beyond any of my frantic googling both before and after he arrived and showed why I really needed specific expertise from an accredited behaviourist.A lot of the behaviours we worked on were around de-stressing Rolo and helping him to settle into his new life. He was resource guarding (new toys and food) and Ellie had some very practical training examples to help him reduce his desire to guard. He also needed help with desensitising to the car, and to his harness, both of which he hated and ran away from. Ellie’s philosophy of allowing him to have some control back in his life by allowing him to make choices really resonated with me, and worked immediately with Rolo.I really valued Ellie being available on Whatsapp to answer additional questions, send videos to, so she could assess how we were doing and suggest tweaks, as well as her sending very specific training videos so we had a visual guide of what we needed to do.Rolo is now 8 weeks into his new life in the UK and is so much more mellow than when he arrived! We still have lots to work on, but the techniques of positive reinforcement and allowing him to make his own choices have really worked well on him, and he is showing significantly less stressed behaviour.

I contacted Ellie when my vizsla started to display reactive behaviour towards dogs. My husband and I found it super stressful that are friendly puppy started behaving in such a way inspite of attending socialisation and obedience training classes.Ellie's advice and sessions were invaluable to turn our lifes around. No more stressful walks as we were given the knowledge of how to handle situations on walks and how to ensure that our dog was happy.Happy dog= happy owner.Ellie continues to support her clients even after the problems have been resolved!I cannot recommend her highly enough. So if you are looking for a trainer/ behaviourist, look no further!

I rescued a staffie who had a fear of other dogs. We didn't know his history (he was picked up as a stray) so it was really difficult for us to know how to help him. We contacted Ellie when we were at our wits end. Ellie was fantastic right from our first meeting, she advised us, sent literature to us, and gave us hands on advice. Alfie is now a well rounded dog, he regularly walks with other dogs, he's a happy dog and is loved by so many people. Without Ellie, Alfie wouldn't be the loveable dog he is today and we'll always be grateful to Ellie.

Ellie is a great behaviourist. Her passion for the subject and love of dogs shines through. I didn’t get in touch with her three years ago when our puppy was small and I will regret that forever. Her understanding of breeds and the fact that dogs have different training needs and learn differently based on their breed is fantastic, and if it’s not working you modify it.We have very quickly made progress on issues that have troubled us for a while with complete kindness and no aversive techniques.I enjoy every moment of our sessions be they face to face or on zoom. Always come away feeling really positive. When our time to finish regular sessions comes to an end we will really miss them.If Ellie can fit you into her schedule, you and your dogs will be very, very lucky. I cannot recommend her highly enough.Thank you, Ellie.

Ellie is very professional and has an ability to explain instructions in such a clear way. My gorgeous cocker spaniel is now doing brilliantly and I am so much more confident.
