Greenway Bridge Car Park
Always nice to have a walk along canal. Sampford peverall to halberton. Stop for a flask of coffee on picnic bench then back. One hours walk on way with 10 year old and sis. Just enough before the 'are we there yet' started

It is amazing the best country park in the south west, it has a horse drawn barge that runs a 1and a half and a 2 hour trip and the Rangers and volunteers that work there do an amazing job, it's the best kept canal in England, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Greenway Bridge Car Park
A good car park on the edge of Halberton, with easy access to the canal .This is a lovely canal weather you're walking, cycling, angling or paddling your own canoe. There's always lot's to see with the changing of the seasons, different flowers, trees, birds & waterfowl. There are also some fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.

My local canal.. I love it.. I fish it.. We canoe it.. We feed the ducks, walk for miles, bird watch, nature watch etc etc... I love this place.. Miles to walk, loads to see.. 30+yrs this has been my local canal, I've grown up fishing, camping, walking this place and I will NEVER get bored of it.. Walk the distance - you'll lovd it..

Lots of space to park, easy access to the towpath in each direction. Nice circular route that takes you past the farmshop and cafe (closed Mondays).
