As far as planning, every bit of advice was bad as far as build they have been terrible, the best thing they do is send invoices. They even charged my friend for chasing up their own suppliers!!!!

We hired Urban Roof Gardens to redesign our terrace. We already had one on top of our back addition roof, put up by the previous owner, but was very dull and uninviting. We loved the terraces on the website and decided to give them a call. Pierre came up with a design that was meeting both our taste and our needs for the outdoor space (we have 2 toddlers which are out there a lot). They supervised the tender and construction process and made sure everything goes smoothly. It took a few weeks longer than estimated, due to some bespoke materials we had to wait for, but it was all worth it! Overall a nice experience and we would recommend them.

I echo the sentiments of others. Under forecast build cost. Sent loads of ‘time’ based invoices (c£20k). Charged me for a tender process with one bid from a very useless builder. Then attempted to charge me 25% of build cost to project manage the useless builder. Their design included several unworkable facets that no building control officer would ever sign off. They then charge you for changing their original plan that would not work. FYI my roof terrace already had planning permission, this just about improving it.The owner has replied. Once again, he dismissed and blamed his customer, as he has on a number of reviews. This indicates repeating issues that need to be addressed. I do hope viewers will see a pattern forming and if they enter into any deal with URG, they do so, with their eyes open.My review is factual. £20k fees then 25% on build cost or down tools. It’s on the spectrum of extortion.Feedback is a gift that drives continuous improvement and service quality. Please take it on board. Thank you.

Just wanted to say well done and thanks to the folks at Urban Roof Gardens. They got me permission when my previous architect failed, designed something amazing, the builder they got for me was really professional, and I watched the fireworks a few weeks ago from my own roof garden. Come on guys - when is my garden going to appear on your website!
