It was a great place to visit. The store had great inventory. This was my first club fitting and it definitely brought into focus how choosing the right club and length and what not goes a long way into helping your golf game.The staff was great to talk to and very helpful. Matt helped me for my fitting and was great! Very patient and informative. Aside from the club fitting Matt noticed one or two small things with my swing and stance and gave some advice on what to work on in that aspect. Went out and played today and used his advice he gave me and it definitely helped. I was hitting the ball slot better and nicer

Quick , efficient and friendly. Had a very enjoyable club fitting session for a new driver, good recommendations for choice of shaft and clear explanation of results on screen.Would definately do it again if the need arises.

Just had my first golf lesson with Mark Sturgess in Melbourn golf range and it was fantastic. I learnt so much in half an hour with Mark. He is so professional, patient and explains everything so well. I couldn’t believe that I was hitting the ball relatively well in such a short space of time simply by following all of his simple steps. I would definitely recommend him.

I came in today for a full fitting with Matt. He was super accommodating and very knowledgeable on selecting the right clubs for me, I am very new to the sport so I had little knowledge or direction on what I wanted. Matt got the ball rolling really quickly and started to whittle down clubs with me, working our way through the full bag. He even gave me a few pointers on my golf swing which made significant improvements on my striking consistency… I’ve never hit golf balls so straight in my life. A full bag fitting takes a good 2 hours but it flew by! I would absolutely recommend AFGolf to anyone looking for a really well stocked shop with exceptional customer service and knowledge.

Great lesson with Mark, he really helped me understand 'unhelpful' aspects of my swing and how to correct them! He's a good teacher with a direct and no nonsense approach but with a great humour. Thank you!

Jason at the Peterborough store was fantastic in our lesson yesterday. He kept things simple and made it easy to understand the areas of improvement and how to improve them. I then put this into practice on the course today and played so much better! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you very much!

Would have been 5 stars if the diagnostic machine to assist with selecting the correct putter was working. The whole experience was very smooth, from booking the session, to the actual fitting right through to the purchase of the clubs. Ellis was excellent, very patient and genuinely interested in selecting the best clubs for my game. Obviously they are hoping that the fitting will lead to a sale but there was not hard sell. for info I did buy a set of irons and wedges on their recommendation. If you are thinking about a new set of clubs, don't bother with American golf try AF, I've tried both and they are chalk and cheese. Hope this helps.
