What a very helpful man. I bought a sub that was too heavy to carry. I went home to get a sack truck and when I arrived back at the shop, he had wrapped it up in Bubble wrap and also included some freebies.I will be shopping there again, in the future.Thanks mate.......

OK, so if you are just looking to go in and just grab something of the shelf, this may not be the place for you. If you want genuine helpful staff invested in helping you make informed choices then this definitely the place for you. Me and my mate spent a wonderful morning selecting the the best set up that matched his budget. I can't recommend Gulliford enough. Give these guys a try you won't regret it

If you ever need to go to this shop, beware of a medium-height middle-aged man with glasses called Ian. He is the most miserable salesman I've ever encountered. No social skills. No smile. No eye contact unless he absolutely has to. Combative approach to dealing with customer. Everything is a problem for him. As I struggled in the doorway to leave with my turntable (he didn't get off his seat), there was no thank you or goodbye. He just peered at his computer. I had to say 'so there's no goodbye?'So I put my turntable on the counter and told him exactly what I thought of him. His default setting is to be miserable. Beware!Ask for Mike instead.

Repaired one of my B&W speakers that I have owned for over 20 years, great job, creatively repaired as exact part no longer available. Couldn’t be happier with the service Ian gave me and very reasonably priced. I was kept fully informed and delighted to have it working again. Thanks!

A belated review. I have never visited a hifi shop and felt as judged as I did in this shop. I was barely listen to and told I’d be better off going over to Richer Sounds, which I did where I bought my new turntable and speakers.My wife said it was the closest you could get to the scene in pretty woman where someone grossly underestimates how much you may be able to spend.

This store was recommended to me as the larger chain stores I visited were clueless and immediately engaged in a sales pitch for new equipment . From the moment I walked into Gulliford Hi-Fi I felt welcomed . Excellent one to one Service and very attentive. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Once I explained the issue, they were able to solve my problem with my existing speakers and stereo system without trying to sell me a new one. On this basis will 100% give them my business when I eventually need to buy a new one.Highly recommend to any one looking for a one to one service.

It was about time that I refreshed my system so I initially phoned Gulliford and asked about a new cartridge. I spoke to Iain and he gave me good advice. Took my turntable in for them to fit the new cartridge and we got chatting about speakers. To cut a long story shorter, Iain came up with a suitable pair of speakers so he demoed them and I bought them as well. The sound is amazing thanks to their good advice. It is like I have a new record collection. If you are serious about your sound then I can wholeheartedly recommend Iain and the team.
