I see Eleanor. I have Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, and Degenerative Disc Disease. From the very first treatment the electric shock pains the Fibro gives me disappeared, as did the muscle cramps. My back is being strengthened and the pain in my shoulder, which prohibits movement, is being helped also.If you are thinking about seeing an acupuncturist then I thoroughly recommend The People's Acupuncture Project. The sliding scale of payments is brilliant as I can afford to visit weekly rather than only once a month and I don't feel guilty about paying the minimum amount when I'm stretched for money.

Friendly, professional, respectful and confidence inspiring therapists. Lovely and comforting to be in a shared, communal space where others are having treatments around you - it felt like this normalised acupuncture and made you feel part of a wider community. The acupuncturists were very mindful of your needs and comfort levels and reacted accordingly - going easy on the number of needles and placements if they sensed any unease. I went for about 8 treatments and found it very helpful and generally very relaxing both during and after treatments.

I would highly recommend a visit to the People's Accupuncture Clinic. Charlotte is very caring and truly interested in helping guide you back to health.I enjoy the multi-bed approach. I have had 1 on 1 acupuncture and actually found it a bit too intense. The atmosphere at St David's Hill is very calming and despite often having very personal things to discuss I have never felt the presence of others off-putting but actually supportive.A very unique set-up which has made a longer term course of acupuncture accessible to me. Thank you

I have been having acupuncture treatment regularly for 2 years and find the positive benefits have impacted on me in ways I could never have anticipated.The improvments in my physical health issues are easy to decribe e.g the enormous relief of being pain free in a very arthritic knee!I find the holistic treatment and positive improvement to my emotional well being, confidence and anxiety are truly samazing. Magic!The People's Acupuncture Project definitely does offer a 'warm and welcoming setting'.My warm thanks to you all.
