Terrible company first thing we got told by Debbie was that it is not about getting ‘bums on seats’ (for them to get more money per person) but getting people back into work. Since I’ve finished my counterbalance training I have not found any work as a cb driver because I have no experience and have basically been left to it by Genisis even though me and others were promised interviews with company’s who work along side genisis training. I’ve been contacted around 3 times one was for a job that had nothing to do with being a counterbalance driver one was to see if I was still looking for work and another time was for me to leave a review about genisis. Honestly my experience after leaving genisis training has been terrible I struggle to find work as a driver and everyone who I am still in contact with who attended the course are in the exact same position as myself. Basically just another job Center funded waste of time course and I’d love to hear back from genisis after someone reads this review.

I have completed Customer Care, Business Admin and Personal Development for Employability (PDE) courses over the last 2 weeks at The Holiday Inn and The Liner Hotel in Liverpool.The courses had excellent content and all of the tutors we met were friendly, knowledgeable and supportive towards all of the students.I

I was privileged to be part of the genesis course with AAmna afzal which i thoroughly enjoyed. This was the best learning experience i have had, well taught and easy to follow and not get lost even though i struggle to be taught in other classes so this was a breath of fresh air

ive done a course with aamna afzal for capita customer services. I would 100 percent recommend her as she is so helpful very polite does her job up tp standard, she has helped my confidence so much and she does a very good job in what she does.

I just had a week long course aimed for those looking to get into the Civil service and was highly satisfied with the service. Ian, as well as being highly knowledgeable, conducted the sessions in a very friendly and fun way. I have come out of it feeling much more confident.

I enjoyed the course and now feel ready and educated correctly to enter an Idustrial Environment and be Health & Safety awareWayne our tutor was great during the whole process.

Very informative and enjoyable course. Despite being virtual, Aamna managed to foster a very friendly interactive group. We started the week as strangers and left as friends, whilst having learned so much to help us in our new job roles.

Went on one of the COSHH course which didn't cover COSHH at all. Only thing we covered was customer service and personal development. Wasted time and money on transport and didn't even get the certificate even after multiple phone calls to chase this up. 4 years on, still no certificate. Roy, the guy who owns this business is only after money from funders but can't be arsed paying for students to get their certificates. I would avoid genesis like the plague as all they are after is money for getting learners on courses and don't actually care about learners keen to get back into employment.

This business offers free accredited qualifications to people who are unemployed or on a low income. This is a free opportunity that will improve chances of finding work.It seems to me that so many people think they can go on a course & not have to do any work, obviously there is going to be written work!If you paid privately to do a course you'd still have to do written work.For me, many people want a qualification but want to do zero work to get it & this is what this & other training organisations are up against.The staff are very friendly & inclusive & genuinely care.

I have recently undertaken the Civil Service application training course with this company. I learned about application procedures and was given information regarding the expectations of the organisation and how to successfully put these into practice. The trainer was friendly and helpful and I found it most enjoyable.
