Lovely local café with gorgeous food and welcoming staff. Very popular. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and well behaved doggies are welcome.

There's no tea shop at the ruined abbey, but fear not, Whittles fills that gap wonderfully. The cake looked gorgeous but we opted for brunch, excellent. Really popular with local cycling clubs too (they all opted for the breakfast sandwich and a cuppa, plus a refill of the water bottle). We'll definitely come again

Lovely place to stop in for breakfast. Had the avocado and poached on toast and absolutely had to add a sausage (and got too!). Nice tasty portion sizes, dog friendly, friendly staff and if I’ve got room…the cakes look good too!!

We had a delicious breakfast with Norfolk produce (great bacon and sausages!) and home made baked beans. We also tried the home baked gluten free carrot cake which was exceptional (all cakes and scones are baked fresh in house). Wittles is dog friendly and the perfect spot to have breakfast, lunch or tea in Castle Acre (such a gorgeous village - don’t miss visiting the priory).

Wonderful gem in the idyllic village of Castle Acre.As an independent venue it has a friendly attentive atmosphere where you know they're putting personal care into everything they make - from the delicious coffees to more substantial dishes. The brunch options are tasty, healthy and well made, and will certainly set you up for the day ahead!Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area - just be sure to check the opening times to avoid missing out.

Wittles of Castle Acre is a busy tea room providing brunch, lunch, and cake! Sandwich plates or 'boards' from £12. Smoothies from £5. Four-legged friends welcome. All dishes looked homemade, and our food was delicious. The fruit scones are excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Gluten-free meals are available. Afterwards, take a walk around the St James Great Church an impressive Norman Church.

Stopped here for lunch after a lovely tour of the castle acre priory.Located right in the heart of town it has such a sweet charm. Outdoor tables were only for people waiting on take away (only disappointment). We were seated for lunch quickly and received attentive service. We opted for the afternoon tea with ham sandwiches and scones. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return for brunch and to get a picnic box for take away.

A lovely find in a beautiful location, with excellent friendly service. We only had tea and coffee served at the outside tables (sadly served in paper cups - the only slight negative). However the tranquility, and swift service with a smile made up for this. There seemed to be an extensive picnic/take out menu and also a good sit-down menu at the indoor cafe. There is ramped access to the cafe for peop with limited mobility, but steps to the shop, though I’m sure the attendant would come to the door to take orders. Well worth a visit.
