Christian and his team were an absolute joy to have working at my pub, fitting the most beautiful, bespoke library, using lovely old English oak, and a lot of skill, they were so detailed in scribing in to the uneven flint wall. It looks like it's always been there, and we couldn't be happier.

I contacted Libra carpentry about the remodelling of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a staircase area. Christian had some great, practical, stylish and affordable ideas of how to reconfigure walls and spaces to maximise use and lifestyle. Christian is very easy to talk to, always answers his phone and together we developed detailed fully costed plans. He has an excellent base of suppliers and workmen to provide all the specialist knowledge required.His work is of a very high standard, his staff are very hard working, polite and clean. Mess is kept to an absolute minimum. The work was carried out on time and to budget and it was an enjoyable process from start to finish. We are thrilled with the work he has completed, it works so well for our family.I would not hesitate to use Libra Carpentry again, we have.

We used Christian and his company Libra for a complete refurbishment of our property, including a large kitchen extension, internal reworking, new roof and repositioning of the staircase. The whole project took some 9 months, which was within the original proposed timescales. They did a wonderful job, and turned up every day without fail. We have had so many positive comments since the work has been completed, with many people asking who carried out the work I know several people have since engaged him to carry out work at their properties. Dealing with Christian & his team was a pleasure, from day 1 of the build to final the handover - all of which was on time & within budget.We commissioned a new-build oak barn & outbuilding from scratch - land clearance, raft foundation, brick work, oak frame & boarding etc, the photos speak volumes and the workmanship second to none. Every detail/finishing touch was considered, well thought through & executed to very high standards.We won’t hesitate to use Christian again & plan to have him back on site to undertake the next stage of the development.
