The Grange Medical Practice

(Cresseda Small) - This is the best doctors surgery.I love the quick and efficient service the grange provides. Just amazing overall.I have been here since I was born. I’m now 21.the staff are polite and the doctors make you feel welcomed and supported everytime you visit them.

Overall I've found the practice to be responsive and helpful. I only put four because I recently had an issue where my midwife requested two medications and when I rang to check the progress I was told it was just waiting to be prescribed. When I found it hadn't been I rang again and this time was told there wasn't a request. My midwife then had to send the request again. I was concerned as I got two different responses about the status of the pescription.

The doctor who attend us was nice and welcoming. Explained to us in detail and clearly. We left there pleased by the services . Thumps up, keep the good work.

In the past 3/4 weeks I've been in touch several times for my 7 year old daughter. Whose eczema behind her ear keeps flaring up and getting infected. Each and every time I been told to go to a&e or ring 111 after 6pm as there are no appointments available.I've been cut off once as soon as they answered and then a Vanessa said to me that she's sorry there's not 100 drs at my service at this surgery.Both times I've ended up in hospital and got antibiotics prescribed, she's been on them for 17 of the last 28 days and possibly needs more. In between she's had an appointment on 8th June which was made back in may for same problem, where the Dr wasn't much help.I've been in this morning to make an appointment, I left my number but both times they've called my wife despite me telling them she's at work. When I ring to complain they said you needed to be here at 8.30 for same day appointment even tho I was there at 8.45. it was urgent as I didn't want her to start a fresh course of antibiotics but gave an appointment for next day as they don't care.

Over the years I have generally been quite satisfied with the Group. Blood tests are done regularly and reviews are posted to view. Luckily my health, though still fraught, has stabilised so there have been no alarms.I would however have hoped to hear from one your gps regarding the outcome of these results, even if this is just reassurance that we're mostly on track.So far over the years I have heard from practice nurses, all credit to them and the chemist But very little contact with the gp assigned to my health even if it were just for a telephone catch up.One of the things I would definitely want, and haven't had for many year, is a face to face review of my health and all the tests you diligently take.Overall, though I do believe the practice has done an excellent job for me. So, well done and thank you. I know it's not easy.Now, will I get feedback from the surgery?

My partner went to this practice to get bloods taken. Car park is an absolute shambles, cars trying to maneuver everywhere. Receptionists are useless and rude. She was stood at reception waiting for the receptionists to finish with their lovely conversations and giggling and actually do their job. When the receptionist reluctantly returned to her post, she was incredibly rude and weirdly non verbal in her communication with my partner. If you need to go to this place, don't.

My 3* rating reason being because I’ve been with this Grange Medical Practice for as long as I can remember and I’ve never been more disappointed with the staff and on call I recently called asking for a Fit Note update because I had already sent a request a week prior to this and they had told me on a Friday afternoon it would be ready to pick up on the following Monday, so I call Monday afternoon before 4pm asking for the update and oh to my surprise it wasn’t even accepted It got declined because I didn’t know I had to see my GP because I was seeing other doctors just for tests and had to book a appointment with my GP which they should have told me in the first place(I had no idea I even had a GP in the first place).Also call staff are extremely unprofessional and seem lazy they should be providing correct training to there staff and making sure it is to a 5 Star standard and to be making sure there doing there job more professionally and handling things in a appropriate manner when I called she said said to me “only thing I could do is book you in for an appointment closest being the following month” I said that’s way to far away for what I needed she then ended the call with a very unprofessional manner towards patient service. But I can add though one major improvement to there call waiting times it has significantly improved and your not waiting for 20minutes for a 2-3min call

Was just promptly hung up on by a clinician who said they couldn't help me and refused to elaborate.They don't disappoint if you're looking for the worst GP in Huddersfield. They should be investigated for medical malpractice, worst GP or medical professionals" I've ever interacted with and I'll be finding a new GP as soon as possible."
