Went for afternoon tea and tiffin yesterday this place did not disappoint. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Staff were pleasant and mildly witty :). Give it a go prices and food excellent.

Visited with family. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great cup of coffee and tasty food (portions could have been bigger). Great ambience and atmosphere and clearly a popular place. A nice place to take a coffee and while away half an hour or so.

We’re four friends who trained together as nurses in London forty years ago and met up for a couple of days, finding ourselves in The Fat Zebra for breakfast. Its warm, welcoming atmosphere was the perfect place to catch up and although we were there for a good couple of hours, no one ever made us feel as though we should be moving on. The full English breakfasts were delicious and I would have given it five stars except I would have liked two of those delicious sausages, they were so good. Also lovely big mugs of hot chocolate which were actually hot and tasted of chocolate! What I really loved about this place was the eclectic mix of customers relaxing in there from a new mother with her 5 day old baby to a woman obviously working on her computer in the corner to a young guy just chilling by himself….and of course we four youthful nurses! Finally, it catered well for those with various food intolerances with my friend having an oat milk hot chocolate and a gluten free breakfast.

That's a gem of a cafe - family run, great ingredients to make up scrumptious dishes.I've had a few breakfasts there, and always left very satisfied.

Such a lovely little place, with amazing food combinations on offer and spectacular cocktails. You are made to feel very welcome and like nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

Had afternoon pot of tea, sandwich and cake. Good choice of great food, friendly service and very enjoyable music playing softly in the background creating a relaxed and warm ambience. We were not rushed and spent a very happy hour or so here. Highly recommended.

Massively Overpriced and massively over cooked. Tiny portions, rock hard poached eggs with half a rasher of bacon. On the two smallest pieces of sourdough toast you could get. Staff asked if the breakfast was okay we said “is was average at best.” And the staff member just ignored us and walked off. Won’t be going back, and not value for money!

We love it here. Warm, welcoming and friendly with a great menu and happy to accommodate allergies. Quickly becoming our favourite place in Bicester for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend a visit.
