Following heavy rain a couple of days previously, the course was in poor condition with muddy fairways and very long grass in the semi-rough. Greens were excellent, though. Also, it's a very boring course with little variety.

In theory has good facilities but advertises driving range open from 7.30am but shuts until 10am to cut the grass! Not publicised and no signs warning you! It’s not even a big area so 2.5 hours to cut the grass is somewhat extreme.

Been coming here over the years. Well run club, club shop and driving range. One of my work colleagues even had his wediing reception at the dedicated events venue.Glyn and his team are always happy to see you and assist by answering questions and generally being helpful.Biggest win recently for me was the loyalty scheme - I bought the Gold card and it saves me a lot of money for 1,000 balls.Keep doing what you're doing guys!

Styal Golf Club
Styal is a privately owned club with flexible members plans and pay per play. It has a 18 hole par 69 course and a 9 hole par 3 course great for your short game. The main course is ideal for beginners and still offers a challenge for the low handicap players.The clubhouse is separately run and is open after 8am. Snacks and meals are available and the bar from 10am until 3pm. They do occasional fun evening events and Sunday lunch. Pre-book essential.

Loads of parking. Take Ur gold clubs. We paid for 200 balls and hit the balls over the range. Was fun.Social distancing in place. Coffe shop was closed.Lots of ppl playing golf.

Great course. Played with members multiple times and always had a great experience. Carts and trolleys available for hire, driving range decent also. Price to play as a non member not the best, but doesn't take away from an enjoyable time.

Went to this range for the first time last night because my usual range (altrincham) ran out of balls! I love it! I'm never going back to altrincham after hitting balls here. The place is spacious and clean, the matts are in great condition with power tees and there are loads of targets on the range. The balls are good quality and new and you get nice flight/feedback from them, even with long irons. It's excellent value too, in my opinion.
