Great Gable Summit
An arduous climb is rewarded by one of the finest panoramic views in the Lakes, especially looking down on Wastwater and across to the Scafells.

One of the easiest of the big peaks to get to as it is possible to park at Honister and walk in from there. Great views of the rest of the Lake District

Amazing place. Even better if you're a climber/scrambler! Lovely walk in, beautiful views and fab rock! Can't wait to go back! Take all rubbish home with you! Pick up any you find and help to keep these places feeling so wild!

Great Gable Summit
On a clear day it provides one of the best encompassing views in the lake District.The plaque honouring the members of the fell and rock climbing club who died in the First World War could not be in a better place.
