A1 Ready Mix Concrete
I would give zero if I could. Booked skip - no show. Called and re-arranged (having paid). Second no show, called again. Transport Manager accused me of being rude? And refused to deliver the skip, clearly they had double booked. PLEASE CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK. AVOID using these people!

A1 Ready Mix Concrete
Paid for a skip to be delivered, it came the next day. Fair enough. I was surprised to be charged when the skip was delivered though. Usually it’s when it’s collected. So I call them when the skip is full. 8 days later and at least 5 Phone calls and the skip hasn’t been collected. I’ve heard all the excuses under the sun now and beginning to get annoyed. I’ve actually been promised 3 times “it will be collected before the end of the day” and that promise has been broken multiple times. I will not be using these guys again.

Great company to deal with really helpful delivered the skip when they said they would. Collected it the day I called to say it was full Driver was a nice guy. If you need to hire a skip these are the guys to use.

After being let down by builder, it was the A1 Skip hire team and especially Mark who stepped up and went above and beyond to help us out.Fantastic group of people who not only helped, but showed kindness and understanding to our predicament. A Great team of people.

We had a skip from A1 which was arranged by our builder. Our builder had not paid, which we were not aware of, and we told them he should pay it. They asked if we could open the gate so that they could take the skip. We let them in, after which they emptied the skip on our drive, to our horror. No warning of what they were going to do. They did not tell us that if we didn’t pay this would happen. This is disgusting and totally unprofessional and I will be contacting trading standards. If I could, I would have given no stars at all.

Price and speed of dropping off the skip is great!Trying to get them to collect the full one is like pulling teeth. It's so bad that after I had one in July, I swore that I'd never use them again. I softened with the passage of time and ordered another,filled it within a couple of days and asked them to collect it.Still waiting well over a week later and despite repeated phone calls.I will need another skip soon but I'll be looking elsewhere for sure

My review seems to have disappeared so I'll put it back on again. Awful company. Dont deliver the skip when stated, after 5 calls asking where it was, they just cancelled it. Looking for another skip now, hence why I'm checking out the local companies and thought I'd see if my review was still here. Tossers

Driving tailgating, didnt like me driving at 30mph in a 30 zone, decided to overtake me, sped off right across a roundabout which they didnt slow down for. Accident waiting to happen. Rang the company to speak to someone about how bad the driver was and lady who answered said we were trying to read the sticker on your bumper. (Yeah the one thats says basically to back off, and that its on camera. Yes it is front and rear dashcams. See if the police like tour dangerous driving.) She put the phone down on me.

Been pleasant to deal with. Arrived when they said and collected when they said they would. Very helpful over the phone and invited me to the yard to look at the skips so I could gauge what size i needed. Delivery driver also polite.
