David Village Lighting

Very helpful staff - this is our 5th time ordering - had an issue and wanted to amend our order - everything was accommodated and we were well looked after. Great product selection too.

Here is a photo of the Dali dimmer that David Village disputes in is in my Artemide light I purchased off them. It is of my opinion that David Village have little understanding of the technical requirements of the products they are selling. Their descriptions are vague and they offer no customer support. This light will not operate on the domestic 3 gang 'push to dim' dimmer switch that we have in place. There is little instruction given with the product, or on the website about the necessary equipment needed. Therefore, it's not until you open the packaging that you discover the impossibility of installing this light in a domestic setting. It's at this point that David Village will refuse your option to return the product. (because you opened the packaging which is in their hard to find terms and conditions - be careful!) I would avoid them like the plague or suffer the unnecessary costs in electrician fees. Save yourself the monumental time and suffering and shop somewhere credible like Heals.

Just completed my first purchase from David Village - Anglepoise Floor Lamp. Great result from start to finish. Automated email to confirm order, followed by a personal notification regarding the specified delivery date etc. Would highly recommend.

We have consistently experienced excellent service from this store, with very helpful and friendly staff providing a great retail experience. When we ordered online, our purchases were carefully packed and quickly delivered to our Isle of Wight home. This shop also offers good value when considering premium lighting prices in other stores.

Bought 9 wall lights from here. One of them arrived damaged, but we didn't notice until we installed the light a couple of weeks later. Their terms and conditions allow only 3 days to notify them of transit damage which seems utterly unreasonable, especially when it's not immediately obvious.

I have been extremely impressed with David Village Lighting throughout my purchase. They kindly checked when deliveries would be most convenient to me and dealt with a return and replacement with professionalism and courtesy throughout. I would, without hesitation recommend them and will use them again in the future. Excellent service and very pleasant to deal with.
