Amazing discover! Perfect place for a brunch. Everything looked fresh and juicy. I really like this butcher shop/cafè concept!I tried the chicken wrap, and it was beautiful!! I will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.

Just eaten a slice of rump steak from your shop. It was superb. The fat on the outside was perfect and the steak so tender. Of course my cooking helped! Far superior to any steak I’ve bought from the supermarket and I feel like I’ll never go back!

Just had there Uptons full English breakfast.A bit surprised at first as there were no baked beans BUT there was 3 extremely tasty chipolatas with 2 gorgeous black pudding and some of the tastiest bacon I have had anywhere I was assured that they had not hand made the eggs but they were both large eggs with tasty yellow yolk.I was full after eating the breakfast.The staff were all extremely friendly especially as I went in as the opened the door at 7am.I recommend the cooked food and the array of fresh meats pies they sell so if you are near by definitely call in.

Award winners and you can see why! Absolute pleasure, lovely place with very high quality food, great friendly team and lots to try! Highly recommended! Probably the best bacon and black pudding in the UK. Hope to visit again soon.

I visited Uptons of Basset today and was impressed with how they manage a unique blend of being a deli-butcher and a cafe. The homemade cured collar bacon in my bacon sandwich was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I couldn't resist taking some of their bacon, scotch eggs, and sausage rolls home. A lovely place that definitely deserves your visit!

Butchers with great quality products. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also sell amazing homemade sausage rolls, pastries and cakes.Finally had a chance to try food at Uptons and was not disappointed. Had breakfast and must say the eggs benedict was the best I have ever had. Good quality bacon and not too salty. Perfect runny golden yolk egg. I can't wait to try steak and egg next time.

We often use Uptons for their meats, cafe and pop up nights. We have never been disappointed! The cost is higher than buying items from the supermarket but completely worth it. You can see how passionate the team are, they are always welcoming and happy to advise.
