Anneka is an amazing seamstress! She altered my wedding dress in Summer 2023 and it fit like a glove! I was between sizes and had been advised by the bridal boutique to size up, so when it arrived I was quite anxious about it not fitting how I wanted it to, and paranoid that alterations might somehow change the integrity of the dress. I needn’t have worried at all as Anneka knew exactly what to do to get it to sit right and put me completely at ease from my first fitting. My dress fit perfectly on the big day just as I had hoped! I would highly recommend Button & Bride! Anneka has altered two wedding dresses for me, one pre-covid and another one throughout, adding extra complications but each time I couldn't have asked for a better seamstress!She is professional, knowledgeable and friendly, I felt very well looked after and comfortable to leave my dresses in her hands. The dresses were altered for a very reasonable price and fitted perfectly on the day, I couldn't have asked for more.

Anneka has been incredible in every way - not only navigating the alterations for two dresses seamlessly without giving away any details to the other bride - but also giving advice about all things wedding and answering any of life’s questions while we were there. Anneka altered my wedding dress perfectly and you couldn't even tell. She's bubbly and fun and puts you at ease if you nervous or anxious like I was. I could not praise Anneka more highly. As soon as I walked in through the door, I felt a sigh of relief to know I was in good hands.My dress fitted me like an absolute glove, and she honestly went above and beyond throughout the process to ensure things were exactly the way I wanted them to be. She even got in some pearl headbands for me, because I wanted to attach a veil to one! Somehow with her wizardry seamstress skills, she managed to sew one to a thin headband!10/10 would recommend.
