Highland Basecamp

Great personel! very kind and helpfull. i arived outside office hours, could make a phone call by the nummer that was on the closed office, they directly came over and opend the doors. All very clean and well taken care of. They spread the word of trust so you could buy food based by putting some cash in the jar without a shopowner. thats what this world needs more of!!

Beautiful location with fantastic facilities for divers. Would also be a great place to stay for cycling, kayaking and other outdoors sports. Room was spotless and the shared kitchen was large and well equipped. Highly recommend!!

Myself and my mum stayed here for one night after a cycling trip, and were overjoyed with the room, outdoor area, service and over all experience.The room is just what we needed, a bunk bed and shower room. The outdoor area is free to use for all, with picnic benches and the most amazing view.The kitchen and lounge area is shared and extremely welcoming. The lady in this area gave us a run through of where things were etc and was very friendly. The lady the following day servicing the rooms was also lovely and very friendly.The ferry to Fishnish is right outside of this accommodation so it is convenient for travelling.The views are absolutely breath taking and if you need somewhere for the night this is the place to be. It is used by local divers but anyone is welcome. Also spotlessly clean!!!

A fantastic base for exploring the area and very easy to get to Mull from Highland Basecamp.Me and my wife just had a really lovely three nights there. The beds are comfy. The bedding is lovely. The towels are large, cotton and luxurious. The shower was endlessly hot. The cookware and equipment was nice (decent pans, good non-stick frying pans and induction hob) and the setting was perfect.The kitchen and lounge area is all set up to encourage geniality, conversation and interaction with other guests and is therefore friendly and welcoming.During our three nights we met and chatted with a Dutch documentary maker, two marine biologists, a Caledonian Macbrayne ferry worker, a retired environmental agricultural manager, a solo cyclist, an outdoor pursuits specialist and a good number of cheery divers, not to mention Fraser and Dave (sorry, can’t remember the lassy’s name) who own the place and who are very approachable and engaging.Overall I therefore heartily recommend Highland Basecamp to all.

Lovely location. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Beds are comfy. Communal kitchen/dining room is spacious and well equipped. We were diving so having the compressor onsite was great.

Honestly tremendous value - comfy rooms, warm and clean and nicely presented with grand communal facilities. Lovely owners and I'll be very happy to come back anytime; an absolute steal is you're two to a room :)

Highland Basecamp Lochaline is a fantastic setup for divers and others. The accommodation is clean, warm and rooms have en suite facilities. The Communal kitchen has various cooking appliances and everything you need to prepare any meal you desire. Check-in very smooth and all instructions for check-out and for use of all facilities can be located within your room. Diving facilities were excellent with air and nitrox fills available each day. The boat is 2 minutes from the basecamp and the crews have a great knowledge of the local diving area. Staff at the site were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much bother. I would highly recommend this facility and will definitely be using it again soon. Thanks again. Brian

Great place to stay, very clean and welcoming. Kitchen is well maintained and everything is well kept in order.EV chargers are just 1 minute away.
