We are currently in the middle of renovating our house and decided to start with the lounge. Ampthill Fireplaces were a fresh breath of air compared to other trades/businesses. They did everything they said they would and more. No task was too big and the communication was amazing. I literally couldn't recommend anyone else. They have completely transformed the look of our lounge. We love it and so do the dogs! Thank you!

We wanted a false chimney breast and log burner, Ampthill Fireplaces completed the whole project over a few days. We love the finish and the work was completed to an excellent standard! Would thoroughly recommend!

I have recently had an electric fire installed with a media wall. I have been so impressed with the service from beginning to end. The initial quote with John was very helpful. He made suggestions that I hadn't thought of and he came up with the perfect design. The install was exceptional, two and half days to move electrics, build a frame plaster and install the fire, TV and sound bar. The speed Tom worked whilst keeping everywhere tidy was insane!If like me you worry with what's going to happen when you have work done. Then you have to use Ampthill Fireplaces. Highly recommend

I thought I would provide a review 12 months after install. From organising the initial visit and providing a quote and detailing the work required based on our requirements was perfect. They installed and delivered exactly as specified removing the open fire, installing an electric insert led fireplace, blocked off the chimney, wired in the electrics and re-plastered the chimney breast and electric trunking. Apart from an over zealous shop assistant who failed to recognise that we were the customers and could make up our own minds on our preferences rather than be told what we wanted and should have we found everyone else highly professional and the product wholly satisfactory. The initial lads that attended the property to open up the chimney were polite friendly and did a marvellous job as indeed did the plasterer who undertook a very clean efficient job. The original lads returned and made a wonderful job of installation of the chimney liner and then the stove followed by a very informative chat on its use and upkeep. Ampthill fireplaces offered a complete installation service for a new build house that required a mock chimney breast and flue for a wood burning stove. They visited the house to take measurements and made recommendations about which options would work well in the space available. We then visited the showroom to select options with help of some display materials.Soon after we got a full quote and a list of dates over which the installation would take place. The end to end process was completely taken care of, so we just had be around on the right days for the contractors to work. The guys that come over were very friendly and worked tidily. We’re really happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone considering similar work.

Having had great service throughout, from us arriving in the showroom, through to final installation, the media wall Ampthill Fires installed has created the perfect touch to our lounge. Makes us proud to show it off to all guests who visit our new home.
