Nice looking pub in a country setting, but really only seemed to be a restaurant. For a Saturday night it was almost empty although rainy weather might have kept people at home. Food was excellent but staff were not particularly attentive - didn't notice when they had served bottom of the barrel beer.

Honestly the nicest place, instantly welcoming, warm and wonderful atmosphere. Food was beautiful, well presented and tasted amazing. My partner and I will definitely make a beeline for this place next time we are in the area x highly recommend the whipped feta and honey flatbread.

We have recently discovered The White Hart and have become regular customers. Really tasty food (Sunday roast is excellent and I recently had a shallot tart that was delicious). The views from the beer garden are spectacular and inside is cozy and attractive. The staff are so friendly and always accommodating of our young children/ various food allergies. We've been consistently impressed and will continue to return!

Enough is enough. I have been here several times and am yet to leave a review. I feel the time has come. Whatever I eat here is exceptional. Roasts on a Sunday or steak on a Friday or even their burgers. Each and every time the food is simply stunning. The welcome from the staff always friendly. Beer; exquisite. We love this pub and will come back again and again and again.

The staff were all very polite and welcoming.We ate twice here and both times there was issues with the food. I could except a few small errors but the roast beef on the Sunday lunch was very disappointing. However, the vegetable and dessert were faultless.

Popped in on the way past, staff was friendly, and the meals were excellent. Price was good for both food and drink lovely outside sitting area on the hilltop. I definitely recommend

Excellent pub in an excellent setting. Average prices, good food. Fish and chips- fish is well cooked with a good batter, chips are spot on. Club sandwich- well put together and enjoyable.The views when sat outside are a delight. Worth visiting for the vista alone.

My food was delicious, camembert and cauliflower steak but my husband's was not so good. Think he was unlucky with cauliflower bhaji and shallot tart. Everyone else seemed very happy and the desserts were delicious.Service was excellent and a great location.

Fortunately my cousin only lives a couple of miles from here. The food is lovely, a proper pub and the staff are so nice. We will be back for more. I had a steak and Guinness pie and it was delicious. The veggies were wonderful. If I had had any room dessert would have been taken
