First class service from Jack Marston during the last couple of weeks. After a delayed start from one of his colleagues Jack picked up the reins and very quickly sorted out a test drive and we happily collected our new car only one week later. Jack is a very polite, courteous and thoughtful young man and is a credit to Evans Halshaw.

Really great experience buying our new Renault captur, Colleen was very helpful and went the extra mile in customer service to make buying the car special.From going in on Saturday the car was ready to pick up by Wednesday, and was always kept up to date with developments in the process. We visited this friendly showroom after unexpectedly needing to replace our car. After looking at the used cars we decided to take a look at their new Dacia range. We spoke to a lovely Sales executive called Colleen who guided us through the different models and specifications. We were surprised to learn that a brand New Dacia was cheaper than many of the used cars on display. We were informed that 2 of the cars that we had viewed were immediately available so after Colleen provided us with the details we went home to think about it. We made a decision shortly after returning to the showroom to purchase the Dacia Sandero Expression . We picked up the new car today and we are really pleased with it. I would like to add special thanks to Colleen as she was very helpful, professional and not pushy, (this would have put us off) and kept us informed throughout the process. She is an asset to your company. In fact we were expecting to visit lots of showrooms in the area the day we purchased the car but didn't feel the need to go elsewhere. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Evans Halshaw Middlesbrough and would use them again in the future!

Just bought my new car from Evans Halshaw/ Dacia and I have to say Jacob is a credit to the company. He walked me through the process from start to finish and was such a pleasure to chat to, making a daunting process quite enjoyable! I have to also mention having spent a number of weekends walking around garages, I found that most salesmen ignore me and talk directly to my partner even though I am the one buying the car, this was never the case with Jacob, he was professional in every way! So thank you Jacob! Your amazing at your job!

Goodness, where to start.We arrived at our appointment and we were greeted by Olly who was a friendly chap. He was extremely open about the fact that he was new to the business and several times he went off to confer with other colleagues/ managers who were present on the day. To be honest, I was fine with the process taking longer, having the confidence that he was speaking to other more experienced colleagues to ensure no mistakes were made.This brings me to the day of collection where I was called the sales manager, Jack Marston at just after 8am and informed that the Duster 1.3 Extreme that we’d settled on in the showroom was not in fact a 1.3 Extreme but a 1.0 Extreme Hybrid (LPG). Although full of apologies at the error, we were duly informed by Jack, that we’d be looking at February/ March time for the model we’d been sold (1.3 Extreme). Clearly this was very upsetting for me and distressing and we’d falling in love with duster in the showroom, believing (as we’d been told) that it was a different model. So much so, we’d already arranged insurance on the car, which of course was incorrect as the car was wrong! Following some debate on the phone, we agreed to attend the showroom where the manager Jack assured us that, as we already had an appointment with he, he’d be there to provide a test drive on the vehicle top see if we liked how it drives and take it from there.Upon arriving at the showroom we were handed over to a lady, Colleen, who we’d never previously met. Clearly by what was taking place, she’d been drafted in to correct all the mistakes with the order etc and get us sorted ASAP. So she did just that, in an extremely rushed fashion. so much so, the V5 received has the incorrect address on it. Still wating a response to my email to Jack (re the V5) where I’d responded to one of his follow up emails as they had forgotten to get us to sign certain documentation, I mean how slap-dash can you get!The entire process felt rushed, we feel in a sense, duped into buying a car that we didn’t choose and as it happens LPG is the hardest fuel to source, what a disgrace. Whatever happened to personal service I have no idea as quite frankly, not at any point did we feel valued. Couldn’t wait to get rid of us was more the feeling. You might expect to receive this level of service purchasing a fast food meal, not a £21000 car!

Great experience with the guys at Renault - Jack and John - they couldn't have been more helpful part-exing my last car for a new Renault Clio. They worked hard for me to get a great car at a price that worked for me and made the process very straight forward and easy. Today I drove away in my brand new car!
