Horrible gym, always busy and cables, benches never available. Toilets stink and never clean and you can smell toilets in the gym . Water tastes poisonous. I found a needle in the changing room on the floor. People push in cables just because they’re big. Never again!!!!

Top beautiful gym it definitely has a warm welcoming look to it as opposed to the cheap warehouse type rough look gyms. They have heavier free weights than the normal gyms this definitely was a major appealing factor for me even at peak time I wasn't waiting around for the ample machines located around, indeed they have multiple duplicate machines for the same muscle group all this and the cherry on the cake is the Sauna at the end of the session . The cleanliness of the shower and toilet area can be described as pristine the only negative for me is that there's no steam room at this gym.

It’s a good gym, I just wish they had a female only section. Feels a little intimidating when you want to use the weights. Also can get very crowded at peak times. Unfortunately I ended my membership with them after 2 years simply because it just didn’t feel like a place I would want to work out due to the behaviour of certain members. I no longer felt safe.

Good gym overall, very nice atmosphere. Just the odd equipment at peak times you have to wait for or people faffing when using equipment (not using it on there phones ect) ever since the gym became 24h you don’t see many JD staff around, you see the PTs. No cleaning solution and blue roll anymore. That’s the only down side otherwise I would have given 5 starts. Over all good gym, good environment, good design, can be very busy after 5-6.

I recently called a gym to inquire about viewing their facilities before committing to a membership. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The person who answered the call seemed disinterested and did not provide accurate information. When I asked if it was possible to see the gym, I was informed that I could only do so after paying the monthly fee. Additionally, I specifically inquired about a dedicated exercise area for women, to which I was told they had one. However, upon visiting, I discovered that it was merely a women-only changing area and sauna, not a dedicated exercise space. It was apparent that the person who took my call did not listen carefully to my question and seemed more focused on ending the conversation.Furthermore, the cleanliness of the women's changing area did not meet my expectations. It was only adequately maintained and not appealing to me personally.Currently, I am waiting for my refund, but I believe it is crucial for gyms to offer prospective members an opportunity to view their facilities without unnecessary complications. Transparent and honest communication is vital to build trust with potential customers.I hope that this feedback encourages the gym to reevaluate their customer service approach and consider providing a more transparent and hassle-free experience for prospective gym-goers.

This is the 3rd gym I have signed up for since deciding to make a life style change. It’s large, open & well ventilated compared to the gym group & pure gym this is a great gym!. It can be very busy at times mainly with people loitering and not working out. In the evenings you tend to see a lot of younger people sneaking in which can be frustrating. The male janitor who’s on at night is really friendly & approachable and even though it’s not his job if you have any questions about where something is or how to use the vending machines etc he’s more than happy to help you. The main problem is members not cleaning up after themselves (empty bottles etc). The main thing wrong with the gym for me is that there are no cleaning stations with sanitiser spray and blue roll to clean machines down after you have used them which I very unusual. With it being a 24hr gym and like most 24hr gyms it’s hard to monitor who’s entering / sneaking in the only solution would be to have security on the door like they do in Manchester 24hr gyms. Overall it’s a great gym and I’m happy here for now until I get more confident, but the main problem is nothing to do with the gym but the people who use it and who are not respectful of the space.

Hate to amend my review but no wet facilities not even access to accessible shower without any comms going out to members making it a waste of time to visit this branch . Shame . One of the best equipped and cleanest gyms. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. This should be the blueprint for any other JD gym, bowled over .
