Muchos dicen que Sheffield es su Universidad, y no una cualquiera, una gran Universidad, expandida por toda la ciudad, con muchos espacios para trabajar y un gran ambiente que acoge y genera un gran campus internacional.Conocí al responsable Internacional de la Universidad, Andrew Bromley es una persona muy entusiasta y enérgica, que participó y se involucró en todas las actividades de la semana, algo que es un punto a su favor porque indica un gran alto nivel de implicación e interés por lograr un máximo beneficio para todos. Vive y se nota que le gusta lo que hace y eso marca la diferencia. Tuve reunión con: la biblioteca, delegación de estudiantes (Student Union), la unidad de acogida a los apartamentos, empleabilidad, orientación y pastoral, el servicio de idiomas. Resalto los talleres sobre Sheffield y la Cultura británica. También me gustó mucho el taller sobre mentorización con alumnos y el programa de empleabilidad. A varios de estos talleres asistieron estudiantes para contar su experiencia, lo cual fue muy interesante, porque escuchas su propia versión de vivir en un Campus internacional.Me maravilla el alto grado de implicación de los alumnos en las actividades de la Universidad. No deja de sorprenderme la soltura y seguridad con la que exponían los estudiantes sus diferentes vivencias en el Campus. También tuvimos un taller sobre las dificultades en el entendimiento del lenguaje y adaptación a las diferentes culturas, algo muy interesante a la hora de tener en cuenta en el proceso de internacionalización.Me asombra descubrir la cantidad de esfuerzos y recursos que emplean en satisfacer y ayudar a los estudiantes. Están totalmente volcados al 100% en sus alumnos.

Good for studying, working, and networking. It has good support for student, staff and community as well.

Probably the worst academic experience of my life. Do not recommend this university to anyone. You will have much better chances of graduating and landing yourself a solid career by studying at another university. Communication is horrendous, staff don’t have a clue what they are doing, the help team send you round in circles and when you try to chase things up there is no response even though the automated email confirms a response within 5 working days. You pay 11 grand to study at this university and in return receive a shambolic experience. Don’t waste your time - get out while you can.

Had an amazing year at Hallam. Dont know about other departments, but mine was amazing. Hit a few walls in between but aced it with the help of the amazing staff.

It’s one of the best Universities in England with huge population of International Staff and Students. Have cutting edge equipments for R and D. Easily accessible for admission and high ratio of its students graduating successfully.The University is currently witnessing catastrophic expansion, opening more campuses around England including London.Recently, the school has earmarked billions of pounds for this project.

The beautiful town of Sheffield, large, expansive, a thoroughly modern city. I visit regularly, about £6 return on the train from wakefield I use the supertramp free.the Centre of Sheffield is surprisingly fresh, the town hall is a beauty by itself, likewise the cathedral, I often visit Hillsborough to the north of the city centre, and return in the early afternoon to visit the art gallery and the winter gardens, if you're looking for a spot of lunch, I would just go to the moors market᜵within the market are about 12 different food outlets, they are not expensive, entire area is very friendly.
