I’ve always loved the grizzly bear….until recently.It’s still a nice local and I would love to give it 5 stars but I’m feeling rather depressed about the semi recent renovation….can we please bring back the black walls??? PLEASE?!I miss the charm and atmosphere from previous days and personally prefer not to be able to see every facial feature of the persons sitting across the room.Also what happened to the fun bar tender?!Long story short…can we bring back the black walls?????

Wholesome Micro-pub in the heart of Worthing. Always good music, good beer and friendly staff.Rare to find such a diamond in the rough when it comes to micro-pub/small bar type establishments.

Good lively atmosphere in Fridays and Saturdays. Recently renovated and did more cocktails. Some nice beers on.Downsides are it's a small place so the only toilet is unisex. It's also pricier for a pint than most other pubs in the area.

A very nice small local pub nearby to West Worthing station. The barman was very friendly and it was nice to see some more unusual beers on tap, such as Rothaus.Prices were fairly reasonable and it was a relaxing low lit environment with candles and quirky furniture. Will definitely return if in the area.

What a LET DOWN.2nd review.Unbelievable how long it took to make 2 cocktails.Just don't bother going there if your thirsty.Lovely drink wen it arrived so much later, but not worth the wait.Original review.Lovely setting, great drinks....But the only Toilet there was dreadful - the toilet seat was the wrong shape for the quirky toilet and it wasn't even bolted down properly. It was dreadful, dangerous and disappointing :-(Pop in for a half, but don't stay if you need the toilet. Not till that is fixed and fixed properly.
