Excellent spicy food Bangladeshi style. Had the Naga masala and Sag Aloo with pilau rice. Ordered mango lassi and coke for drink. Generous portions for two for only 30 pounds. Great taste! Will be back again when in the area.

The Cinnamon Tree used to be the go-to local place - great food etc. We haven't been for a number of years since their last refurb when we didn't have a good experience (not romantic - no curtains, bright lights, part decorated.)Roll on a few years and a treat to go out.On my booking I'd requested to be sat away from the speaker; we were placed directly under it. No bother, it was quiet when we arrived and the music was quiet. The service was quite slow but ok.The food wasn't super hot, rather more room temperature and actually, and sadly, didn't have much flavour though on a plus side it wasn't laden with salt.I did notice the tables put together next to us but thought it would be ok. However, when the party of 16 arrived and got into the evening they were as raucous as raucous could be. We could not hear each other or speak over the noise. It was a very very disappointing evening.Do note that they do not sell alcohol.

Enjoyed the Sunday buffet. All the dishes were hot and a good amount of choice. They don't have a drink licence but are happy for you to bring your own.Staff are very friendly but not over bearing. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent food, gentile service, good valueWe discovered the Cinnamon Tree by chance when passing through, and were very pleasantly surprised as soon as we stepped through the front door. Remote and unpretentious from the outside, we were given a royal welcome and service that could not be improved, by cultured and friendly staff. Something of connoisseurs of Indian cuisine we were very impressed with the fresh, tasty dishes we ordered. The spicing and combination of ingredients were not run-of-the-mill but masterful. We feel like visiting this part of the country again if only to repeat the experience.

It was very quiet when we were there. It was 8pm ish on a Wednesday night. So plenty of tables. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was nice. We ordered a korma and rice with naan to share between two and had more than enough to eat.We have eaten here several times in the past and have also had takeout service. We have always had a good meal and enjoyed our time here.

As a long term customer of the Cinnamon Tree, I can't recommend it enough. It simply ticks all the boxes. I've tried many other Indian restaurants and takeaways over the years, in a misguided hope of finding one that beats Cinnamon Tree but it's a fools' errand, there are none.Food is always incredible and if you want a dish tweaked to your liking, they will always accommodate.Staff are just brilliant, always super friendly with great service and they go out of their way to make kids feel welcome.Ample ree parking around the back of the building so always easy to find a spot.My one tiny criticism is that they do not sell alcohol, you need to take your own. They previously sold alcohol, pre-pandemic but never brought it back and I don't know why.But that's a minor niggle and doesn't really detract from what is otherwise a fantastic dining experience, end to end.

THE best Indian restaurant! Food is always top quality, and staff are so friendly and accommodating. There’s nowhere else my mum and I would go to get a curry! Definitely recommended if you are in the area (or even if you’re not- it’s worth travelling to).
